Default Oldest TVB series you've ever watched?

What's the oldest TVB series you've ever watched?

My oldest was my first: THE FATAL IRONY....taped by TVB back in *1974* (Richard Nixon was President of the U.S. at the time).

There's probably several TVB series that I've seen thats beyond the time I was born. But I think the oldest series I've seen is Chor Lau Heung with Adam Cheng somewhere in late 70s?

Yep. I think CHOR LAU HEUNG was produced in either 1978 or 1979.

Yeah, 1979 to be exact. The oldest series I'd seen was "Lok Sun" (God of River Lok) made in 1975 starring Adam Cheng and the rest of his 70s series. I watched them way later, not in the 70s of course

I think mine was Legend of the Condor Heroes 82 (Felix Wong & Barbara Yung). That was my oldest series although I saw this much later than ROCH 84.
Have you learned to love one another?

The oldest TVB series I've watched is Luk Siu Fung 76. The first story is boring, but the second one is a classis.

I started but didn't finish 'Goddess of River Lok' with Adam Cheng. It was way too boring.

Which Luk Siu Fung is this? I remember a really old one that I have seen withAlex Man Chi Leung, but I know there is another old version with Damian Lau. I don't know which one is older.

Ga Been (A House is Not a Home) which came out in 1977 in HK. but we were always 1-2 years behind in the US so i saw it in 1980 or so. that was REALLLLY long too. real sad series. wasn't a pleasant thing to watch as a 5 year old.

Yesterday's Glitter (1980) although I only watched 5 minutes of it and stopped after deciding it will be one depressing ride.
The oldest I completed was DGSD (1981-1982).
I've not seen any 70s one, although I came very close to watching Chor Lau Heung and HSDS of Adam Cheng. The tapes were too old though, I didn't want the dust to damage my VCR

As I can remember, the first TVB series I watched should be a drama stared by Lisa Wong and Lau Chong Yen in 1980. I don`t know the English title, but its Chinese title is "京华春梦"!
