(Ok...so it's taking longer than expected to organize all my random FengMi ramblings... I realized I didn't save any of the links to the videos/interviews so now I have to go back and find them. >_< But, to make up for it, it'll be a mega-post I promise! I also finished subbing YM's "Birthday Party" episode--yeah I know, it's like a month late--so I'll add those in tomorrow after I do a once-over to check that everything's synced properly.)

I really liked the cover shot of "Fashion Weekly" (even though it's rather photoshop-heavy) but the inside shots are not that great...the only one I really like is the B&W white with the "beetle necklace". (The colouring looks kinda weird/off for a lot of them...IMO the "big name" magazines definitely do a better job at photoshoots, and the clothes are better too! e.g. I really liked the shoots she did for Grazia, Harper's Bazaar, and L'Officiel.)

I think Yang Mi is so good with her chemistry with her male co-stars. She can even pair up with a unconventional(someone who's not good looking) male lead or someone who's way older than her.

Lol, how many of these "most popular" actor/actress awards are there in China?? I feel like a new poll pops up at least once a month by a different TV station or whoever organizes these things!

But hey, out of those listed, YM has collaborated with all the other actresses except Ma Yili, and 4 of the actors! (Well, dunno if you can count Du Chun really, since they both participated in Gong 2/PCYPT but they might not have scenes together in either...)

My favourite is definitely the MRXJ wedding gown, that was gorgeous. (The headpiece was the best one too!) The one from "Gong"--she really looks like her nickname ("fox") there! I think it's the slightly evil, slanted eyes and that pointy nose of hers...

Btw, just have to say, YM has a TERRIBLE track record when it comes to onscreen weddings! I swear, there's always *something* wrong. Either it's the wrong guy, the wrong girl, wedding doesn't go through due to some tragic event, or the marriage is a total sham and ends sooner than later...most likely, more than one of the above! (Well, at least she's gotten all the "disaster weddings" out of the way so her real one will hopefully be good! ) Let's take a look shall we...

MRXJ: right guy, but the wedding doesn't go through... (well, the first wedding was wrong guy, but fortunately she got saved; second wedding was the right guy, but unfortunately it ended tragically...)
Gong: right guy, wedding goes through...but she's the wrong girl! (though they do have a "make-up wedding" later)
CP3: wrong guy (well *I* think Yuan Hong should be the "right guy" but anyways... XD), wedding doesn't go through
Ru Yi: To be determined...but based on all the pics of YM looking sad in her wedding gown, I don't have a good feeling about this either...

Plus:

DHTHK: wrong guy (well, sounds like first she gets kidnapped by FSF on the way to the wedding when she wants to get married; then when she doesn't want to marry the guy anymore FSF ends up dead and the wedding goes through...though I think YM runs away in the end anyways?)
LZ: wrong guy, wedding doesn't go through
DMXN: wrong guy, sham of a marriage (though she does get her happy ending wedding in the very last scene)

This is super cute: seems like Yang Mi, who's in Shanghai filming right now (alternating back-and-forth from the "Vanishing Bullet" production to the "Da Wudang" one), made a visit to the "Luan Shi Jia Ren" set! (Probably filming next door to her.)

Here she is with the LSJR director (also happens to be director of MRXJ), Luo Jin (who she collaborated with in MRXJ as well), and her good friend Tang Yan!!! (Umm, yeah, no idea what TY is wearing but anyways...)

Speaking of which, I can't believe we are still getting NOTHING in terms of news from "Vanishing Bullet!" >_< There are some pics leaked but only of the supporting cast, and the set. Anyways, it seems like they've mainly been doing night-time filming for it--Yang Mi seriously needs to just sleep, it seems like for the past while she was shooting XSDZD at night, then running off to do magazine shoots, commercials, and other activities during the day. O_o When does she get any rest, seriously??! One day she flew off to film something for charity purposes (not sure exactly what it is but 9 different celebs are participating including Feng Shaofeng and Chen Kun, among others)...there was a video with some shots of her filming for that one and she looked completely dead. >_< No sign of her usual lively self, she looked ready to fall asleep on the spot...so it turns out now she has to re-shoot that one and make room in he schedule for a second round of filming for it.
