It's a fake set of "Gong 2" DVDs, and they actually photoshopped a cover of it!!! (If you can't tell, they put Yang Mi and Yuan Hong as the leads, bwahahaha... ) Wonder what is actually in these DVDs, I feel sorry for whoever buys them...wait actually maybe it is Shang Shu Fang--after all I notice the emperor is Kou Zhen Hai (he played the emperor in SSF). (Except Mickey He seems to be still on it...)

This is a pic of YM that I'd seen awhile ago but no one seemed to know where it was from. Seems to match the hair/costume from the HP2 pics though: (she looks really tired/sick and the pimples on her forehead are really obvious, people speculate it was around the time when she did her DMGD promo)

FSF looks okay, but YM looks rather plain...that hairstyle YM sported in Hua Pi2 did nothing to enhance her prettiness...

I agree...but looks like that pic was taken while she was sick/exhausted so she probably wasn't in the best state during these pics. Hopefully with post-production editing etc. it will look better. After all, I really liked her look in the previous pic we got so I just have to trust the movie people I guess.

Anyways looks like we probably won't be getting any more because even these ones had to be deleted from the Baidu forums. (I'm so glad I checked the forums when they were posted and I saved them! ) I'm getting impatient with the HP2 people...if you won't let people leak photos can you please hurry up and release some official ones???

Bit of a different focus in this post--lots more news on Yang Mi as a singer lately! I know a lot of us aren't exactly big on her entering the music industry (and want her to focus on acting), but she works so hard and tries so hard in all her endeavours that I can't help but support her.

First off: Yang Mi apparently sung the theme song for the Taiwan movie XTSYD (the one with Vic Zhou and Ella). She also just recorded the theme song for her drama "Ru Yi" with Hawick Lau. Finally, apparently she will be singing one of three songs for her drama "Beijing Love Story" (perhaps an insert song? The main theme song has already been released and is sung by a male singer, who is really good and I LOVE that song). Guess after the smash success of her singing the "Gong" theme song a lot of her other dramas/movies want in on the action.

Next: album news! It will be titled "亲幂关系", translates to "Close to Me" in English. It's actually quite a clever play-on-words as "qin mi" means "very close" in Chinese, but the second character is replaced by "Mi" (as in "Yang Mi")...funnily enough, even the English translation kinda works out as a play-on-words since it sounds just like "Close to 'Mi' "...haha.

So I honestly don't understand how YM manages to get so much done...I can never get used to her insane schedule. In the past few days she's been attending various promo events, award shows, interviews, recording songs, etc. etc...I'm not even going to post all the pics from the various places because it's just too much. Seriously, all these other activities could be a full-time job on its own, yet her *real* job is filming...of which she still manages to work on at least two projects at any given time. >_<

OMG, I just saw this series of pics someone posted and nearly died laughing:

(The guy is Han Geng. From the name tags on either side of him, you can see "Jane Zhang" on his right and "Yang Mi" on his left...he ends up sneakily switching his own and Yang Mi's spots so that Jane and Yang Mi are seated together while he is on the other side of Yang Mi! )

Haha, nahI think he just thought it'd be super awkward for him to be stuck in the middle of the two girls (maybe he knew they are good friends and would've ended up talking over him the whole evening, lol) so he had the bright idea of surreptitiously switching the nametages for them before they got there. Unfortunately...one of his sharp-eyed fans caught the entire thing on camera.

I actually didn't know about Han Geng until he left Super Junior and came back to China to do acting (yeah, I don't really pay attention to Korean music... ) so I had no idea how popular he was but he is pretty handsome!

But she's still gorgeous after all the busy schedules! I wonder how does she manage it so well. I met Joey Rong (am not a fan of her so didn't take any of her photos) last Friday. She was there for a show less than 1 hour but she needed to arrive 3 hours ahead of time for make-up etc. Generally they run two shows in 1 day. So even the appearance is short, the preparation time (plus traveling) is long.

BTW - she looks sexy in that black dress.

^ I think Yang Mi said once that she only needs 4 hours of sleep a day. O_o (Though she probably takes little naps during the day when she can...someone recently managed to snap a picture of her dozing off while sitting in a coffee shop at some airport. )
