You're definitely not the only one...most of her fans want to fire her stylist because her recent looks at events have not been that great. She looks so much more gorgeous in her recent album/MV shoots and photoshoots etc. The hairstyle and makeup at a lot her events are just not flattering...although I did really like her styling at the "I Do" event and the "Perfect Two" Happy Camp episode (much more natural!).

Anyways as far as I'm concerned YM and HG should both fire their stylists. Some really bad choices all around (except with HG his problem is mostly his outfit choices... )

Yeah, I've been hating her recent event looks. Next to the other girls especially, I can tell she is no where near her full potential beauty. But I quite like her look in Eight Happiness so far, that's the way I like her hair if she doesn't have bangs

After all the person before did post that he seemed pretty bored before YM came by!) I wonder if she was playing a prank on him or something, like just sitting there waiting to see how long it would take Hu Ge to notice her, hahah!

For all of you who love GeMi...you'll be happy to hear that we keep getting more of them! ^_^ This time we got a short fan-taken video clip of GeMi chatting animatedly with each other in the audience--it's only 18 seconds long and I believe taken by a Kevin Cheng fan, therefore we don't get a good view of GeMi (in fact you only see YM in the first 2 seconds, then you only see the back of Hu Ge; Kevin Cheng is sitting a few rows in front of them along with Tang Yan, who turns around halfway through the video). However it's still quite cute and further confirmation that it's indeed GeMi in the first set of pics we got!

wow...thanks for all of the updates.

i also agree that ym's look for the anhui (?) event is horrible. i neither like the dress nor her make up. as a matter of fact, all of the girls' dresses (minus qi wei) look like prom dresses of some sort. however, i find that tang yan's style (make up and hairdo) stands out the most...she looks beautiful. yes, ym is in desperate need of a new stylist. i still think she should go back to bangs. seems like her hair line is receding or she's losing more hair as her hair seems to get thinner and forehead higher at each event.

regardless of my complaint, i'm still her fan. =P and wow, finally a gemi moment. so sad that the media cares so little to capture them together and us gemi fans can onlly rely on the luck of other gemi fans. but wow, finally a gemi moment! i so miss them together.

Another minor GeMi tidbit:

Recently when Hu Ge was on a variety show, he was asked to use one phrase to describe 4 of his female costars: LYF, YM, Ariel, and LSS.

For YM: his description was "shi jinzi zong hui fa guang de 是金子总会发光的"--a Chinese saying that translates to "If it is gold, it will always shine." i.e. if something is very valuable (or very talented when it is used to describe people), it doesn't matter if it is buried under dirt...one day it will always shine. (I think it's a very apt description for Yang Mi, who despite being blacklisted/encountering various obstacles in the entertainment industry, through her years of hard work and determination she has finally gotten her deserved success and gets recognized for her talent.)

(For LYF he said she "不食人间烟火"--a pretty common phrase people use to describe her all the time, meaning she "does not pay attention to the smoke and fire among humans", i.e. someone who has that aloof/dignified "fairy/goddess" aura. For Ariel he said she is "using her life to act", which again is quite fitting because of her dedication to acting--overcoming serious health issues and personal issues, yet she loves acting so much she can't give it up. For LSS he first said it was quite hard to find a phrase that describes her, saying they are in the same company, thus they are too familiar with each other. Then he adds that it's quite a pity she became an actress, because she has a lot of potential to do other stuff...??? Actually this was the only one I was a bit confused about--perhaps it's because LSS is a very talented ballerina/dancer so he thinks it's a pity that she doesn't use those skills? Except I think her dance background actually comes quite handy in her acting so I dunno what he means, lol...)


Alright, so when are we getting another collaboration out of these two again?? Well, they were only chatting pretty inconspicuously in the audience, so I dunno if the media even noticed? Actually I do find it a bit strange we aren't getting any pictures from the front at all, especially since from the timestamp of the pictures taken it seems like GeMi were chatting together for a good 15 minutes at least. Oh well, what we did get was still pretty cute (especially considering we haven't gotten anything in so long)...in the video at the end you actually see HG lean his head over to YM while talking to her (too bad YM herself was cut off and the video ended right at that moment )

But yeah, GeMi is kinda "old news" for them now...even though FengMi is still going pretty strong, recently the media has decided to stir up rumours about Hawick/YM (probably due to Ru Yi). In fact yesterday all the various media channels released articles about some seriously ridiculous rumours about "WeiMi", treating it like it was fact (which I'm not going to even bother posting here because it's pretty low...YM's fans all seem to be in disagreement over exactly who is behind the rumours this time--usually when all the major media companies release identical "news" at the same time it's a sign of more than just a random reporter making up something to get attention ). It's actually making me kind of dread "Ru Yi" being aired because you just know the rumours are going to get worse. >_<

I also read an article where apparently FSF is now saying he did once "chase" Yang Mi but was not successful... Unfortunately there was no direct transcript of the interview and no accompanying video so dunno if it is true or how exactly the interviewer got him to admit that. I just find it hilarious that over the past year, he has gone from avoiding the question (being a totally bad liar), to denying it and saying they're just friends (getting better at lying), to being forced to admit that he was a "FengMi shipper" himself and in the past he did like Yang Mi--but he never made any move to tell her or "chase her"...to now admitting that he did "pursue" her but ultimately failed (these interviewers are getting better at forcing answers out of him )! At least Yang Mi stays more or less consistent in her lies (although she's had little slip-ups too). Hmmm wonder how long it will take the reporters to force another totally different confession out of him. Perhaps Yang Mi should give FSF some more "how to handle the media" lessons!
