If you think Infernal Affair is the best Hong Kong movie of this decade, well think again.

    Cast.

    Donnie Yen
    Sammo Hung

for those that lived in hong kong i think the movie is coming out this month so get out there and support the movie, and especially the one that star Donnie, and dont forget to write a review of the movie.

Well the fights are awesome. The disapointment was in Jacky Wu Jing who only appeared quite late in the show although he did appear at the beginning but his face was not clear then. His sword fighting was incredibly fast. His first role as a bad guy and pretty impressive.

Catch it if you like to see 3 great martial artistes duke it out with awesome fighting.

its pity that SPL doesnt get any "proper" promotion.....no tv ads, no newspaper ads, nothing.....no one will know about SPL till the day it release on the cinemas here

i will waiting for the DVD too ...

Yah and a POS like 7 Swords got so much attention and is still a POS makes it a joke.
SPL is good for the fighting and 3 real martial artistes in it. Tom Yum Goong is also in that category but a one-man show. Still great Thai fighting.

that is what happened when you sell your movie right to the Weinstein.

Saw this movie last week...fight scenes are wicked cool, plot is def better than IA, but still kinda WTF and no point.
I do recommend the movie for those of you that love hand to hand combat fight sequences sin CGI...this one definitely has the flavor of old-school martial arts films with a modern twist. Jason Wu Jing is definitely one to look out for.

Jason/Jacky Wu Jing is already well known in the east for his martial arts skills. He has done quite a few historical tv series that has martial themes.
He is considered the successor of Jet Li, Vincent Zhao Wen Zhuo lineage of martial artistes from China.

His sword fighting in SPL is blinding fast and he is also a mean tai chi exponent by training.

arhhhh if this movie has the story of IA and the action that is one of the best than i cant see why this is not a masterpiece in a few years time.
