This is the story about a time when young girls would rely on an artist to paint them a remarkable self-portrait in the hopes of attracting the Emperor's attention and affection. Unfortunately, due to corruptions and politics, Zhao-Jun spent some time in the palace never getting a chance to meet the Emperor. But due to her courage and wisdom, she voluntarily took on the task of helping to save her country from the enemy when there was a request for a beautiful Han woman to be given away to the enemy as peace-offering to secure the safety and peace of her nation. It was at this time that the Han Emperor realized that Zhao-Jun,who had been living in his palace for all this time, was in fact the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and felt pity for having to give her away.....

This 30-episode series stars Yang Mi as Wang Zhao Jun and Liu De Khai as the Han Emperor.

I looked all over to see if there was already one created, but for some reason could not find any. So I made one. I guess this film is not so popular after all. Also, I wonder why Gao Yuan Yuan wasn't cast for this lead role. I thought she was offered the role. She would've brought the ratings and popularity of this series to the top.
