Anyway, i plan to being MIA for many many months due to exams and stress... may see you in around a year
after processing fees, taxes, and mailing it to me, it came out to be $58 for one ticket (for a nose-bleed seating in Ashe Stadium, where the ball looks like the size of a ping pong ball), but the ticket allows me to roam just about the entire grounds of the USTA. (Night sessions however are half that price since you only see half the amount of matches.) That's why I always get the day session, more exciting.Originally Posted by f.alchemist_freak

Gosh, this has got to be one of the wettest U.S. Open I've ever attended in the past 8 years. Monday got off to a 1 1/2 hour delay start, but at least all the matches got in, and I got to see those that I wanted. Actually, all the ones I wanted to see weren't schedule to play that day (Safin, Nadal, Federer, Sharapova), but at least I was able to watch them practice on the practice courts.
Tuesday was a complete wash-out for me. It poured like crazy, and play didn't begin 'til 2:30pm and it only lasted for an hour then the rain came again. Luckily for me, the USTA said fans can exchange that day's ticket for either another session this year or for the same session next year. I'll take next year, since there's gonna be more rain tonight and through the entire Labor Day long weekend. Geez, Safin is schedule to play tonight on Ashe Stadium. Looks like his match might be postponed.
I stayed up until 1am last night finishing the Agassi match. Thank goodness he won or else I'm gonna be very disappointed. I recorded the match too, it was very good for an early round match.
the agassi match was very exciting, if baghtadis didnt hurt himself i think he would've won. still good to see agassi moving on tho, u can see the respect the fans and other players have for him.

i always hated tat guy, with his stupid arrogance, and his a sore loser. i remember a few yrs ago, he blamed an injury becos of a first round exit. and plus the fact tat he complains bout the aust open playing surface was too slow and bla bla bla.
in summary he pisses me off.
Anyone saw this shot by Rog?? Dayum....
