So...how's about a Mainland modern series discussion? Anyone seen or even heard of this one?

Here's its Sina page. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm liking it more than I thought I would. I'm usually an adventure series type.

I notice there's been several Mainland series out lately about relationships, it seems, ever since Chinese Style Divorce came out. So I'm curious if other people here have seen this, or any other series like this one. (How about that "Hao Xiang Hao Xiang Tan Lian Ai" one? I heard Chen Kun guest stars...)

I've never heard of this series, but I'm familiar with half the main cast.

I heard that "Hao Xiang Hao Xiang Tan Lian Ai" is pretty good. It's like a Chinese version of America's "Sex in the City".

Just curious, who and where else have you seen some of these actors/actresses? They're all new to me. The one girl looks like another actress I know, but I don't think they're the same person.

They also forgot to stick the picture of a sleezeball guy on the poster, but that might be a good thing. His character is pretty terrible.

Xu Qing: Ren Ying Ying in Xiao Ao Jiang Hu 2001
Mei Ting: Mei Xiang Nan in Bu Yao He Mo Sheng Ren Shuo Hua
Geng Le: Wang Yue Feng in Hua Yang De Nian Hua
Huang Zhi Zhong: He had a supporting role in one of the cases in Jian Lin Tian Xia.

Cool, I like Geng Le. He's one of the better actors, I'd say. Some of the other people talk kind of stiffly.

One thing that's really bothers me is the lack of editing. In almost every other scene, they let the microphone drift into the camera's view, usually from above their heads. Strikes me as pretty amateur. Otherwise it's not bad so far.
