Don't regret for what you've done.
If you know you will regret,
Don't do it in the first place.

The most adorable ZhaoMin in HSDS.
I like this show! I like the cast too. I have no complaints ----- for now.
Jeanette Aw was complaoin by a lot of people! They said she did not know how to act yet she got the best newcomer award. They even said she spolit the whole show.

Her character's dumbness kind of annoyed me. She's so dumb! Yes, I will vote for her now. >.<
Why is it boring to you?
I find it humorous and kind of fun.
Yeah...I think the show is not that bad...
Chen Li Ping is quite good in this show..I think she has a shot for best actress this year
Xie Shaoguang is not bad too...I think he's really good at these kinda parts...He was very good acting as the cripple in golden pillow..
The sister who is helping Chen Li Ping in the nasi lemak store is not bad in this role...She seems to be acting as the silly and slow girl quite well
Overall not a bad show...mebbe not a show that make me stick to the TV at 7pm on weekdays but definitely a show that would make me laugh and talk about
would give it a 7.5 out of 10

Little about the series and character bios
Spanning more than a 100 episodes, Holland V, as the title suggests, revolves around the quaint neighbourhood of Holland Village, particularly singling out the Mo Family. You see, the Mos are not quite your regular folks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Big Sister" Mo Wanwan is known not only for her famous nasi lemak, but her Herculean strength and big-as-cow appetite. But she didn't use to look like that. The hefty-sized one used to be a pretty, svelte gal who had a daughter (Lin Siting) with Lin Jingcai at the age of 18. Jingcai then brought the baby back home to be taken care of by his wife Su Yueping, who is unable to conceive. Ever since Jingcai was put behind bars for a crime he committed, Yueping forbids Wanwan to see Siting. In fact, the 2 women are always squabbling, they are known as 'the most quarrelsome duo in Holland Village'. Upset when banned from seeing her daughter, Wanwan turns her misery into eating sprees. Within a decade, she has turned into a boorish 'Iron Lady' whom everyone fears. She is however, forced to look into her weighty issues when she finds herself falling for Fang Ruowen, a doctor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do not be deceived by limby Mo Lingling, the Mo's 2nd sister, for in that chopsticks-thin legs lie a formidable kick when she's provoked. Otherwise, Lingling is all demure and kind but sadly, she is often bullied by her colleagues and even her own foul-tempered husband Tian Dahua!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Third sister Mo Yanyan is a lazybone who holds a record of sleeping continuously for 3 days and nights. A beauty with brains but who's so lazy, she could give up a Varsity exam for sleep! She soon begins to see the harsh reality of the working world but yet dreams of amassing $ 100m by the age of 30. Can she make it?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mo Jingjing is the exact opposite of her twin sister. She is dim-witted, has a low IQ but works very hard at Wanwan's nasi lemak stall. An innocent and kind girl who often gets cheated of her money and love. Nevertheless, the ever-optimistic Jingjing never bears grudges against those who do her wrong. Although her family often berates her for being stupid, Lady Luck is always by her side - she strikes lottery frequently and even manages to meet her Prince Charming...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a dedicated botanist, Mo Rourou's life revolves around nothing but plants. Though blessed with good looks, suitors are often put off by her highly scientific talks and unromantic soul. When out collecting specimens in the forest on 1 occasion, Rourou runs into some thugs and is almost raped and killed. She wakes up from the ordeal retarded. Can she revive herself?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The only son and baby of the family, Yangyang is the other half of yet another pair of twins with Rourou. Agile and alert, Yangyang is quickly promoted in the Police Force. However, when his girlfriend runs into some problems with the law, he gets himself onto the wrong side of the law in a bid to cover up for her...
No matter how capable each of them are, the Mo siblings still find themselves faced with problems. Fret not though, big sister is always there to cushion their fall!

Chen Liping as Mo Wanwan, Cynthia Koh as Mo Yanyan and Patricia Mok as Mo Lingling are excellent. I am surprise that Patricia Mok can act so well. Jeanette Aw as Mo Jingjing and Vivian Lai as Mo Rourou are not bad too. The only bad actor in the Mo family is Pierrce Png as Mo Yangyang. He is horrible! Actually, almost all of the main casts in this show are excellent.
The story is funny and humourous at times, and sad and touching at other times. It is too early to judge whether this series is good or not as the show is still airing. But up to now I enjoy watching it.
Can I revote? I now totally loathes Mo Yanyan. LOLZ
This series sounds and looks interesting....would you guys recommend for me to go rent it?

Watched a few episodes but didn't like Pierre Png's performance. His acting was too stiff and chinese definitely needs alot of polishing.
I also found Jeneatte Aw's protrayal of a 'stupid' character a little to exaggerated and her voice was just plain irritating.
Why isn't Edison in the list?
There's alot of loathsome characters not included in the poll. ^^
Wow!!! 115 episodes?!?!?! Hmm...that would be around 80 something viet tapesOriginally posted by Guo Xiang
