Good Wuxia movies?

does anybody know of a movie where its about dugu 9 jian.
The guy who learns it has a auntie who uses a whip and to learn dugu 9 jian he had to kill her. and some girl who played a flute that commanded a country.
There is also a guy god of war on there. at the end it was bvery confusing as he had to kill the girl with the flute but dunno if they died... he also had to kill some guy that sucked 4 other peoples powers.

surprisingly, i enjoyed hero...it was very poetic. more than anything else, i enjoyed kung-fu hustle...a parody on wuxia movies.

I like Hero when I watch it the first time. But the second time, I found it boring. Want to sleep ZZZZZZzzzzz watching it.

CTHD and Ashes of Time, on the other hand, has different effect. I don't like both movies when I first watch them, but secomd time, they seem better.

Yeah, that movie. It didn't seem to be a high budget movie, although it did have a couple of names in there. The camera work just seemed to be second rate, colours, costumes and stuff also seemed a bit different....

But the main character was played by a famous tvb actor i think. He was casted opposite Law Gar Leung in an old series called 'twin dragons' or something like that. But his career seemed to be short lived, never really saw him in many movies/series. And the movie also had that woman being the aunty, she was an actress from the SB days, joined TVB later i think. Havn't seen her around lately though.

The movie is ZEN OF SWORDS (1993), starring Michelle Reis, Cynthia Khan, and Waise Lee. Kara Hui Ying Hung plays the whip-wielding Dugu 9 Swords aunt.

but hero was really confusing..i had to watch it twice to get it cuz it was in chinese and my chinese wasnt up to par

i felt fearless was really good...the new on by Jet Li but i dont know if that counts as wuxia
