I thought he does love her? He likes her more than Ye Soya, except they were crossed once and he couldn't abandon Ye Soya either. Plus I won't spoil it, but in the TV series he didn't backstab Sosuhno. If you want to know why scroll down, but its's a SPOILER.

    SPOILER

Sosuhno left him. He didn't kick her out. He wanted her to stay, but she refused to because she was afraid that her two sons will fight over the throne with Yuri (his son with Ye Soya). Therefore, she left for his own good and for her sons to establish another new nation.

i've seen some episodes, and it's quite good...i'm planning to buy a copy, but i'd still want to get opinions from you guys if its worth the buy.
    thank you
The complete 4 volumes with English subs is available from YesAsia. I believe volume 4 is pre-order. A very expensive purchase if you buy all 4.

I would not recommend this series. If you must, then buy volume 1 & 4. You don't need to watch the middle episodes to follow the story line.

A textbook example of draggy drama.

I agree that you don't need the middle in order to follow the storyline, but it isn't draggy. Each episode has an exciting part, but depends how exciting. I just skipped the middle because I was eager to know what happens in the end. After, knowing what happens, I turned back to the middle, and it's still good .

Wow, I would like to watch this after finishing 'Be Strong Geum Soon'. Seems pretty long but Han Hye Ji looks so pretty here.
If everyone could just smile a little more...

If you guys have usenet acct, someone just finish uploading the whole 20 DVDs. I'm just finished DL 10, 10 more to go.

If you guys planning to buy please prepare around USD400.00 for the 4 vol of 81 eps.

Isn't the king Golden Frog the actor in the Great Physician series?

I'm reaching the end of Jumong and I'm sad as that means there isn't any other Korean series that are comparable to both Jumng and Dae Jang Geum to watch.

No, you have 17 more episodes to go.

Try Dae Jo Yong. Twice as long as Joo Mong and the actors are older, but it is historically much more accurate than "fantasy" Joo Mong and acting is better. Plus it is a series of a bigger scale. The first four episodes look like a movie.
