For something like this, I think we need more than one chart, perhaps multiple profiles as this kind of thing is highly subjective.

Can we update YBQ's ranking? He shouldn't be under ZLC after his bixie power up!
Well in terms of "pure" skill YBQ < ZLC just like LHC he is still below RWX and Fangzheng even in the end of story..
We take characters at their strongest point of the story for their rankings- there's evidence to suggest that YBQ was holding back for most of his match against ZLC. The only time we see him get serious is when he moves 10 ft back and returns to his original position in the blink of an eye, to dodge ZLC's qiankun toss.
If ZLC is 65, YBQ should be at least be a little higher!
Funny thing is I'm re-reading SPW and was wondering about YBQ's ranking. There is a feeling he was holding back against ZLC during their showdown. Also his pre-Bixie ranking should be around the level of Ding Yi & Ding Xian. I'm at the part where he just finished fighting LHC at Shaolin and he's asking his wife about the martial abilities of Ding Yi & Ding Xian, his wife said that their abilities are about equal to each other.
We'd agree that he is better than YuCanghai, who is probably on the Ding level?
So if YBQ really "stronger" than ZLC that's mean he is as strong as LOCH HYS or YD well I doubt..
I wouldn't say YBQ is necessarily stronger than the LoCH greats, it's just that ZLC is at 64, on lar with the greats! Cheng Kun seems like he'd be stronger than ZLC but he's at 60...
WuxiaMaster.
Please update Yang Guo ranking with heavy iron sword.
Pre-16 YG with HIS beat Qiu Qian Ren convincingly in less than 200 stances.
The divine condor could not withstand more than 3 stances of YG wooden sword at the conclusion of his 6-year ocean wave training.
Post-16 YG with HIS should be level 85+.
I think he would beat DFBB with the HIS.
My point for Yang Guo..
Lv 74 HIS Yang Guo (pre 16 years)
Lv 77 Wooden sword Yang Guo (after 6 years of training)
Lv 78 Yang Guo after he created Sad Palm but before roaming jianghu
Lv 80 Yang Guo (when he fought with ZBT/HYS)
Lv 79 Yang Guo (early fight with JLFW)
Lv 82 Yang Guo (full powered Sad Palm)
Lv 82 HIS Yang Guo (post 16 years)
Still not feeling it, but more nuanced and reasonable. I think that in the fights against East Heretic Wong Yerk See, Chow Bak Tung, and the Golden Wheel Monk, Yeung Gor's level would be 80...full-strength Sad Palms. Anybody would get +1 or +2 points to his/her natural level simply by being armed with the Heavy Iron Sword.
Did Zhang Wuji level increased when he was using the Dragon Saber?
He was disarmed by the Persian mercenaries?
Not everyone can use the HIS efficiently without mastering its sword arts.
After reading the translated version of ROCH and analyzing many posts throughout the years, I believe that post-16 Yang Guo with HIS is at level 85+.
I also believe that pre-16 YG with HIS is at level 80+.
I cannot imagine post-16 YG, who I firmly believe, had entered or at the wooden sword stage would lose to DFBB, which is similar to wooden sword stage DGKB losing to DFBB.
Too bad his uncle and auntie melted the legendary HIS.
I missed those days when the A vs B discussions were at its peak.
I enjoyed countless hours reading the posts and was delighted when there was an insightful reply to a post The Golden Days
It probably did, though generally, it wasn't necessary because Cheung Mo Gei was several leagues above everybody else in HSDS other than his grandteacher Cheung 3 Fung and the three Shaolin Dao-generation elders when they were in their battle formation. Certainly, he wished he had either the Heaven Sword or the Dragon Saber to hand when he was up against the Dao-generation elders' formation and struggled against their whips.
More telling is what the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre did for weaker fighters. Mit Jeut See Tai was on the losing end of a confrontation against Granny Golden Flower when MJST used an ordinary sword, but when she switched to the Heaven Sword, MJST won easily. The weapon does matter when it's something that special.
