I'll have to say Carmen Lee is the better XLN since she looks more calm, cold and elegant. Since you're comparing HXM with Louis.. it'll be Louis fer me as well. However.. I don't think he's an ideal Yang Guo now since he's so tanned. I prefer the fair one

However, I would say that Andy Lau was the best Yang Guo.

For Xiao Long Nu I would prefer Carman Lee for a better XLN cause she's way prettier(the eyes) and also she acted closest to the novel. LYF's XLN is just cute and young but she laughed, cried, and talked way too much. LYF's XLN is too modern. When I watched LYF's XLN sometimes I felt like that is not XLN anymore but rather a different character.

Between Louis and HXM, I would prefer Louis Koo for better appearance YG, HXM is way too old for YG. But I would prefer Andy Lau for #1 Best YG or 2nd Christopher Lee's YG.

For couple, I would prefer Carman and Louis because they're way more compatible than LYF and HXM. 95's couple is much pretty than 06's couple.

For off-screen: Carman is prettier and LYF is just cute just like any other actresses.

I don't think they call her Fan Bao Bao cuz Nghinh Tu doesn't = to Bao Bao. She's the one that played Empress Wu Zetian in the Taiwanese production. She also collaborated w/ Miu Kiu Wai in "Fire Bird."
