OT: Bao Fong has passed away

Bao Fong, who is probably most well known as Z3F in the 1980s TVB version of HSDS has passed away. He has been away from the public eye for a while and many of us thought he passed away a while ago. He passed away on Sept 22 at the age of 84. RIP

Whenever we talk about Z3F, I always think of Bao Fong's Z3F. He played two of the most powerful characters in the JY canon; Z3F and SM.

I think he's the best Feng Qing Yang and always will be.

Wow. I can think of only two actors who has portrayed in the most JY tv series. Bao Feng is one of them. He's also usually the one that plays the most powerful martial artist in that serial. Z3F, Feng Qing Yang, Hung Hong Tong, SM, etc...

That's Sweeper Monk in DGSD96! Even though he stayed on screen for only about 30 minutes he did a good job as Sweeper Monk. RIP Bao Fong!

Incredibly, we've lost both of TVB's Cheung 3 Fung actors within weeks of each other. Kwan Hoi San, who died earlier this month, was TVB's first Cheung 3 Fung for the 1978 adaptation of HSDS, and Pau Fong was, of course, the Cheung 3 Fung of HSDS '86.

Not a good month for Cheung 3 Fung actors.

yar i was actually under the impression he had passed away after suffering from stroke when fliming Plain Love.

i was surprised when i read about his passing on the papers !

I guess the guy that played Cheung 3 FUng in the 90s adaptation should be careful...
