Default Divine Finger Snap - signature martial art of....Chor Lau Heung?

Divine Finger Snap became part of wuxia lore because it was used by East Heretic Wong Yerk See and his followers in LEGEND/RETURN OF THE CONDOR HEROES, but when TVB adapted Gu Long's CHOR LAU HEUNG in the 1970s, this martial art became Chor Lau Heung's signature martial art as well.

Did Chor Lau Heung actually use this martial art in the novel? I've heard various things. Some have told me that he didn't use it at all; others said that he did use it, but it wasn't his signature skill and he rarely exhibited it.

what's the mandrein of Chor Lau Heung. i can't recogonise it from the cantonese. is it chu luxiang (the frangent bandit). if it was, he used skills at least partially from the daiqi school in gu long universe. same as yan nantian. lu xiaofeng could use golden coin flick with amazing power but it wasn't TZTG. Ye Kai had great finger strenght but it was from his dagger training,

So did CLH/CLX know DFS or not? I thought the CLH series from the 70s with Adam Cheng was not TVB.

It was. It was a landmark wuxia adaptation for TVB too because it was the very first to use the kind of stunt work, fight choreography, and editing techniques that TVB would continue to develop in its 1980s wuxia adaptations. In TVB wuxia adaptations, I think there should be a Pre-CLH and Post-CLH era because the techniques TVB used to film wuxia series changed so greatly during and after the production of this series.
