Default Did East Heretic Wong Yerk See ever return to Peach Blossom Island?

From the time of his wife's death until he went searching for his missing daughter Wong Yung in LOCH, East Heretic Wong Yerk See likely did not leave his home on Peach Blossom Island. He left the island on several more occassions during LOCH (to search for Wong Yung when she went missing again, to fight the Cheun Jen 7 Disciples at Misty Rain Pavilion, and to participate in the Second Mt. Hua Sword Tournament). He returned there for some of the period between LOCH and ROCH, but left because he couldn't stand sharing the island with Gwok Jing's teacher Ohr Jen Ngok.

Did Wong Yerk See ever return to Peach Blossom Island after that? He wandered all over the world during ROCH, but I don't know if during any of that time (a good quarter century at least) did he even once go home.

he probably returned after the end of ROCH. he was old and probably wanted to spend his last days near his wife. GJ and HR stayed in xiangyang till they died so PBI was probably empty. old bat had already left the island.

According to HSDS Ed. 3, at some point, somebody associated with the Gwok Family had to have gone to Peach Blossom Island to place the 9 Yum Jen Ging and the Mo Muk War Tactics Manual there. I'm guessing Ching Ying was charged with the job.

its pretty sad if he did not return to PBI since he spent 1/2 his life as a hermit and set up all of the island's traps. do peach blossoms grow if no one attends to them?

the trees probably became even more wilder and hard to bypass, like the natural terrain around the ancient tomb that impressed huang rong when LMC showed them the way.

sometimes i wonder if Wong Jing would do crazy sit-com style spinoffs explaining what drove HYS off the island (it must be really bad if he leaves and doesn't go back for decades if ever)- he rewrites the heck out of everything anyways....

The blind "bat" wrecks all of HYS flowers with his cane.
The pair of condors start sqawking everytime he tries to play his flute.
GJ keeps getting lost so decides to put up signs to find his way thru the island (and spells everthing wrong)
WY foils HYS repeated attempts to leave the island.
