What would wuxia characters steal from the modern world?

If the various wuxia characters could briefly come to the modern real world and take something back to their native eras with them, what would it be? Note: if they take back some device that requires the use of electricity, they won't have the power supply to use it. Even battery-operated devices will only work for as long as the battery holds out, and modern communications devices such as cell phones and PDAs that depend on global telecommunications networks will also be useless.

This reminds me of that movie where these 3 people from modern era went back in time to wuxia era, even meeting YG and XLN. One of the guy braught with him a lighter and the people thought he was a fire god cuz he can start his own fire. The evil guy had a gun with him and pretty much own all the wuxia fighters with it and even Yip Goo Sing was afraid of him. haha

With that in mind, I am sure all the evil wuxia characters would have love to get their hands on some machine guns.

I would imagine someone like CBT stealing a telescope. Chow Bak Tong would mostlikely be the wuxia character that steals the most stuff.

H7G would mostlikely be hiding in restaurants stealing food before they reach the customers tables.

similar to what you stated, it all depends on who the wuxia character is.. for example, WYY would probably take back something like make-up ... all depends on the character.

Yea, that movie is so hilarious. I am sure I have a copy of it somewhere too.. don't know where I put it. Just imagine how lucky are the guy and girl who learn martial arts and bring it back with them to modern era. It was funny when they return to their own era and end up in the middle of a wuxia movie shoot and the guy just blast Aaron Kwok with palm blast. haha

i forgot what the title is.. but it starts out in modern day and three people ( i believe) gets transported back to the wuxia world by a magical skull(?it's been awhile since i saw this). they get a taste of each popular wuxia story, and in each wuxia story they learn a skill. it was so funny when in the ROCH version the girl was like "OMG! Yeung Gor and XLN!" and she told them that they would be together forever. hahaha i thought another funny story was when the bad guy from the future became the king!

The movie title is "Theif of time". If you haven't seen it before, I highly recommend it. It's like a journey back in memory lane, esp if you have seen alot of old wuxia films from the 80's. The film will make you laugh from beginning to end.

I went and dig around my pile of movies and found it, so I'll be watching it again.

Telescopes were available in China during the Sung Dynasty (albeit not nearly as good as modern ones), so he wouldn't need to steal one. I could picture him clearing out Toys R Us, though.

Depending on what periods of their life these wuxia characters are in, they'd be stunned by how much we know about their lives...including their futures!

I just have this sudden thought that Chow Bak Tong would make a great Santa. I could just picture him dragging a big bag of toys he stoled and jump on the roof tops from house to house and drop toys down to give to kids. Just like when he stole those bag of goods from Passionless Valley and gave them to YG.
