Can't possibly last too long...but we can all cross our fingers.
After Hours - Velvet Underground
my first reaction: why? i understand why the other two dudes want to, but why would sting want to? big payout?

Big payout doesn't hurt, but when musicians get older, they sometimes like to revisit the work of their youth...reclaim their heritage, almost, after years of experimentation and progression.
lol, I thought you were literally talking about the police, as in cops.
Nah, it wouldn't be on the Music Forum if that were the case.Originally Posted by Ling Yi

Their lead singer, Sting, has had success as a solo artist during the late 1980s, 1990s, and during this decade.
Imagine my puzzlement when I saw it in the Music Forum, too, then.Originally Posted by Ken Cheng
They sound pretty interesting, but rock isn't really my thing. Maybe I'll look it up someday though. =)
Even if you're not familiar with the band, you probably know this song, which was their biggest hit.
the police is better thn sting's solo act.
Roxanne by The Police makes a good drinking song. Take a shot every time you hear the word, "Roxanne".
Amen. Not that Sting's solo career has been shoddy ("Fields of Gold," "If I Ever Lost My Faith In You," and "Desert Rose" were great hits), but it pales before the work he did with the Police.Originally Posted by korniskool
