I thought Titanic should be in the 'others like' category. This movie broke box office records and garnered the most awards in the Oscar. Everyone raved about this movie during it's screening and it's lead actor and actress became instant celebrities. Many people watch it multiple times. How can this movie be considered a movie everyone don't like?

One more movie would be The Kung Fu Cult Master. A lot of people don't like this since it was incomplete and moved at a very fast pace but I liked it. Jet Li was actually good as Cheung Mo Kei. Even though it did deviate from the original novel, The Heaven Sword & The Dragon Sabre, at least the main plot wasn't killed entirely like Swordsman II.

All joking by me aside, she does have a point about Titanic, quite a backlash over that movie has developed over how much praise, some of it unwarranted, it received. So she does have a point.

I liked Van Helsing, Fantasia & Himalayan Singh. But i'd read fm other thread that they were the worst movies they'd ever seen. Hmm... they gotta be the REAL film critics. Coz i can't really judge.

I think I saw that movie. Is that the one where Mo-Kei is prevented from using the Solar Stance because he promised the women three wishes? The films ending fight scene takes place in a temple. Is that the one? Was a sequel ever made ? If so what is the name. Thanks.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy and all the Harry Potter movies. The latter is way too childish for me and the first is too pretentious and lacks a good story.

anyway, mine would be Curse of Golden Flower. I like it so much cuz of the filial piety(to the mother) that it shows, and of course, the fights are just great! also the colours used are very dazzling...pretty much fits the history that Later Tang was indeed luxurious, with the high tax and oppression of the people that the officials practiced......but, of course, storywise this movie is nowhere near the real history...

i like this movie very much, watched it more than 5 times already, but most people that i asked about it dont really like it that much....mostly because the ending where more than ten thousand men died in vain in the failed coup.....also they said the movie is slow-paced.....true, at the beginning it was quite slow ( i almost dozed off the first time i saw it in cinema ) but after a while it picks up the pace......

whatever they say, this will always be one of my fav movies....im gonna watch it with my parents and sister when i get back home

I usually hate Michael Bay's movies, but I really, really like "The Island". That movie is universally disliked by both the critics and the mass yet it's one of my favourite action flicks.
