Please test my FTP server

this is not working for me. im not a computer expert so i dunno wats wrong, but from my previous experience, ive never seen a ftp server with .com in it. usually ftps are like ftp://2342.3423.525.3242123.3242

I do manage a website that uses an FTP server.
However, mine appears ftp://ftp.sitename.com/ and then you go to file and go to login and enter the username and password. And I usually have to use the Internet Explorer browser to access the FTP. Other browsers like MSN can't access it.

BTW, I couldn't access it.

OK, it seems that everyone is getting the same error that I got during my test. I have absolutely no idea what is the issue at hand. When I login from my own network (my computer is behind a router), there is no problem, but any outside client can only connect to the server BUT CANNOT see the content of the folder. Weird!

Seems like a port problem. Go to your router configuration and open port 34008 to point to your FTP server.
