youtube is good but there are others that better than youtube nowdays like veoh.com, googlevideo, crunchyroll, dailymotion and etc.

Youtube, as a part of Google, is currently involved in a lawsuit by Viacom...which means many of the cool videos that were posted there as recently as January have been removed. This, unfortunately, has stripped much of the coolness factor out of Youtube for many people.

I liked using Youtube to watch old music videos from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. This lawsuit, unfortunately, has removed a large number of these videos from Youtube.

Youtube has lots of videos, I found lots of funny vids there. I also watched the whole series of GTO live in youtube. I like youtube, its a good site.

the rise of youtube gives me nightmares because my friends has some incriminating videos of my 'not so normal' self

i prefer to use BT for my video experience (in HD quality)

I have no funny videos to share at the moment, but here's my brush with Youtube copyright business...

I was a former Youtube addict, used to spend hours on it but I managed to kick the habit for some reason or another. Anyway, back when I was Youtub-ing everyday, I uploaded some 50 over clips, all copyrighted material, nothing was original or belong to me by any stretch. It didn't take long for me to get hit with the first Copyright violation email, then the second... and then my account was suspended. How I weep for all my (illegal) videos...

I hardly go onto Youtube now, mainly cause so many videos are being taken down, thousands of hits used to turn up when I searched for something, now the number has dwindled to mere hundreds.

Are the screens for the other sites bigger? I find that the you-tube screen is much too small for my liking! also, I think you need to log on to say crunchyroll to view vidoes but there's less of that hassle for you-tube? btw, how are the variety of videos at the other sites? because You-tube seems to still have by far the most videos to see when you search for stuff.

i thought you meant 'tubing' as in the sport of floating down a river on an inner tube... >_<

anyway, i liked youtube a lot since it has all these random stuff you never thought would be circulating around... but then they took down most of the files like some of you said, even though it's never been released for sell or anything, just clips from Korean tv talkshows or variety shows... and the search has now become a hassle. some of these files still exist, (i know, because i saved the url) but they refuse to come up when you do a search.

strawberry: googlevideo's screen is a lot bigger, but quality depends on the file size being uploaded, and i don't know what's the limit on that.

Unlike youtube, the other sites allows you to watch a video for a longer duration instead of 10minutes and under.

The quality of the videos depend on the quality of the videos uploaded onto there. Like youtube though you can enlarge the screen so you have a better view.

For crunchyroll, I don't log out so, the login to access the video, doesn't effect me much.

That is true for some, but not all. Some comes from a very good quality source and it does not look pixelated.

Actually, I was watching the new season of Southpark first episode about the N word. It was so harilous, commented by Cartman, "It was so funny I watched it 60x on youtube.com". Of course, I watched it about 5x on youtube.com, it was harlious.

i love youtube. but mostly its for looking at dramas and stuff.
i love wong fu productions which are videos made by asian guys in california. theyre so funny. i'm sure a lot of people have watched it but.... if yu havent check them out!
