Yup...but then one day my friends started throwing her CDs around like trash. She use to look "hot" but now she's looking older and older by the day and she's not even 30 yet.

Songs i liked of Christina Aguilera were Fighter, Hurt, Beautiful, Dirrty, THE VOICE WITHIN , lady marmalade, reflection, and my fav was "I turn to you".

Britney Spears used to rule the world as the reigning pop princess and Aguilera was only considered second to her. There was even once a rich man who offered a million dollars if she could sleep with him. And there was alot more controversy surrounding her lesbian kiss with Madonna even though Aguilera did the same thing at the same performance on MTV. It was only after Britney got married that her popularity begin to decline which allowed Aguilera to gain more recognition. And even then, most people did not like Aguilera for the erotic look she was going for during that time. Watch "Dirrty" for reminder. However, after a few fashion readjustments and a new better album that showcases her talented voice her comeback was successful and is now a revered sexy diva. But still, she never will be as good as Spears during her prime. While Christina Aguilera has huge sex appeal and high pitch singing, Britney Spears was genuinely beautiful, possessed a more diversifying voice, and a cuter personality.

britney was a better performer period. Personal problems aside Britney was dang good when she was doing her stuff. People like Christina have great voice, but that's not what pop music is truly about, almost all her song you're more focusing on the voice rather than the flow and the feeling of the song, Britney on the other hand sings with a sort of sense that makes you go into the song (her vocal isn't as strong as christina though)... and another thing is that you can actually believe in what Britney is singing.

Christina sings songs that i can't just belive in, she got married and her image kindda ruin a bit, sexy is rarely defined by a married women (not me, society stated this).. at least it's very hard to pull it off.

And don't get me started on jessica simpson, her singing IMO is not that great to begin with, her act as a dumb blond is so freaking stupid, and i can tell she's a hoe.

I agree someone mentioned before, Britney was popular because her song is more catchy and plus she was a good performer. You can't just rely on your own voice, there are other factors involved. Her new song Gimme More is a very catchy song.

I love Christina's voice.
