Luffy "cheated". He nullified Crocodile's power and is immune to Enel's power. In a straight up fight against any "average" Logia (not super strong like dark and not super weak like smoke), Luffy would most likely get creamed. Out of the the Straw Hats, I think Nami and Usopp have the best chances against Logia users. They must have something available to them that can nullify a Logia user's power. Unfortunately, Nami and Usopp never get to fight big bad guys.

Compared to other Logia users like Corcodile, Portgas, and Enel, I'd say Smoker is rather weak. Nami can pretty much school him with her dial enhanced Clima-tact.

I watched the jap version, the beginning part where luffy beat some fat woman into the sea, and then he rescued the sword guy, and then he beat up the guy who can separate into several pieces. kinda lame and I stopped there.

I also not watch everything of the anime, except reading all chapters of the manga. But I watch all the important Story Arc where all the serious big fight happening. You should watch the ennies lobby/cp9 saga, it's serious shit and very dramatic and CERTAINLY not for kids. Also the fight with the baroque-works group and the Shichibukai Sir Crocodile.

And maybe you also should wait and watch when the current arc is animated, when the pacifista, supernova, rayleigh, kizaru, kuma etc is in the picture.

Instead of watching narutard, I prefer one piece FTW.
