With few exceptions, any straight male who claims that he *never* reads PLAYBOY or similar publications is probably a liar.

I disagree. 18-25 men now rarely buy PB anymore, but have all their needs satisfied via the magicbox known as the computer; this is a generational gap I guess.

I've never had and urge to buy a Playboy magazine b/c 1. It's free on the internet, 2. Still images of 15 min. fad girls are very unappealing.

Yeah, but the Net pretty much serves up only the cheesecake photos. If you really do want to read the articles too, you're out of luck (unless you can access them out of a database somewhere). Unlike the other laddie mags and skin mags, PLAYBOY's articles really are worth reading in their own right. Even famous authors such as Thomas Wolfe and the recently deceased Kurt Vonnegut have contributed writings before.

The only time I read Playboy (I'm in ninth grade) was on the bus when some kid brought it. We had to throw it out the window because someone was going to tell on us. The kid stole it from Target.

I haven't read it lately, but they used to print condensed novels and short stories by some very big names. And the interviews are the best - think that was mentioned previously - stuff you just can't read anywhere else.

And all types read Playboy. I know a few women who have subscriptions and I once had a very surprising discussion with a church minister on the Playboy Philosophy (hedonism vs. abstinence). He seemed to know alot about Playboy, though he claimed not to look at the pictures, lol.

Er, what was the topic of this thread again?

    Couldn't you read?

This is a thread of epic proportion. It tells the story of how once humble and dedicated KenCheng became corrupted with power once his awesome grammatical skill reached the 9th level. What was once a cute and seemingly innocent cult of personality turned into a violent sect of grammanazis that thrive on terrorizing other posters via grammar deathmatches and tactics of intimidation such as face morphing and avatar-cloning.

The story reaches its climax once KenCheng managed to usurp the throne from the often absent Empress Spcnet, transformed the forum into his own vision of a Borg-like paradise, and got his notorious accomplishment published in Playboy, after having posing in it himself.
"A girl asked me if she should spent money to change the way she look, I told her that she should use it to change her personality instead."

ha ha, yes thats not impossible.

To Ken: there are many ways of proving things. I would perhaps make my own wikipedia page and refere it. Or I would use mumbo jumbo semi technological bookwormish term to convince them. The latter is not really proving, but more like boring them to beleaving.
You do know that it is just fiction, dont you?
