Aww, thanks Gu. It's okay, we can always blame our woes on Net
OMG I LOVE CREPES!! I have a shirt that says, "Oh, crêpe!"
lol GuGu you took French? Ah yes, the language of love and the land of good desserts. Cream puffs, mousse, brioches, baguettes with Nutella
I prefer sweet crepes like GuGu. Nutella and strawberries and powdered sugar and whipped cream...
lol I really wanted to make my special person a cheesecake (also so that person can gain some weight) but I'd rather make a decent normal cake than a horrible cheesecake. How much harder is cheesecake to make then, let's say, making a cake from cake mix?
By the way, my favourite Starbucks drink is a Double Tall, Non-Fat, Light Whip Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Yes, long order names

All your food is very fattening, I think only you could keep in shape with all the chocolate you eat. A normal person would be >300lbs with the same intake of chocolate as you.
Have you tried the Ice Green Tea that I posted on page 2? It's very refreshing! Costs 1/4 of your Starbucks Latte and a lot more healthier.
Hey don't pick on my food! Some of us want womanly curves but don't have them I thank my genes for my hummingbird metabolism. I think I could burn off half a latte just through jaw movements!
I've never had the green tea - I had the chrysanthemum one and it was okay. I prefer my green tea either in ice cream or hot. Longjing cha is my personal favouriteHave you tried the Ice Green Tea that I posted on page 2? It's very refreshing! Costs 1/4 of your Starbucks Latte and a lot more healthier.
By the way, I looked up my Cinnamon Dolce Latte and it wasn't THAT bad! It's only 270 calories! And no trans fat!

Only you can do that.
I strongly suggest you try the Ice Green Tea with Jasmine, make sure it's icey cold. I guarantee you'll find it as refreshing as I did.I've never had the green tea - I had the chrysanthemum one and it was okay. I prefer my green tea either in ice cream or hot. Longjing cha is my personal favourite

270 calories!!!!!!!!???? The Ice Green Tea Brewed with Jasmine is only 60 Calories.
Another very Asian drink that I'm sure all of you have had.

Do you? I would be interested.
I once made a lime mousse cheesecake for someone's bday. Everyone was saying how good it was and how great that it was nice and light. What they didn't know was that there was 2 lb of cream cheese, whipped cream, and 1/2 lb of white chocolate melted into it.
I love Nutella crepes. The best crepes that I ever had, though, was a chestnut crepe with slivers of almonds. To die for!!!
I've never made anything from a cake mix, but I've made normal cakes. The actual work for a cheesecake isn't significantly harder, but they require more time. You have to make your crust, mix all your cheesecake ingredients together, bake it, cool it, put it in the fridge overnight to set, then garnish if you want to.
Or, there's tons of no-bake cheesecakes out there, and you don't have to worry about getting a crack down the middle.
I don't drink coffee... never could get myself to like the taste. But I love to order a grande Cinnamon Dolce light (or no, depending on if I'm feeling guilty) whip syrup creme. My absolute favourite is when they have the Maple Macchiato or the Egg Nog Latte. I usually get the syrup creme versions, but even as a non-coffee drinker, the coffee versions are yummy enough for me that I can have a little bit.
I LOVE GREEN TEA MOCHI!! I've been trying to find a good mochi recipe out there. If anyone knows of one, please let me know.
Oops... long post.

LOL! Most definately.
- What are your favourite foods?
Just about anything that have shrimps, salmon and halibut
- What countries have the best cuisine?
Italy and Majority of Asia countries
- What foods are absolutely disgusting?
Anything that is raw. It's a matter of opinions, some foods to some can be a delicacy.
- Are you good at cooking? (No) Do you follow the recipe or do you prefer
adjusting your cooking to your personal preferences?
I like to think I am good at cooking. I follow the recipe the first time around and then adjust the cooking preference cater to my taste and maybe for others lol
- Can you crack an egg with one hand? (I need to learn to do that sometime)
Yes. I don't see it as impossible
- How are people ever anorexic when food tastes so good?
Image is important to certain people but if you have health issues(s) and restricted to eat certain food, it's out of your control
- Why is food an important part of you?
Belly rules the mind. It's what keeps you alive
lol I made one of those when I was maybe ten. I don't know how impressive it'll be. Maybe I'll look into something easier.
I never liked coffee much when I was younger, but as soon as stress started piling on, caffeine was a great way to deal with it. Now I've gotten used to the flavour and I rather like it. I have to admit that sometimes I go to Starbucks for a non-coffee beverage though, like a Green Tea Latte or Frappuccino.I don't drink coffee... never could get myself to like the taste.
Wow, you don't like raw fish? Sushi and sashimi are my anti-drug Especially with a little bit of soy sauce - and don't forget the wasabi. I laugh when people tell me their stories about thinking wasabi was green tea ice cream or something along those lines.
Well, obviously it's not impossible but it's very impressive! I've wanted to crack an egg with one hand for the longest time However, it's not like I can practise on eggs whenever I want! I find eggs rather problematic overall. There's a million ways to make your eggs, but the only kind of eggs I've mastered is hardboiled!- Can you crack an egg with one hand? Yes. I don't see it as impossible
I'm actually curious how much you have to eat to be diagnosed with something like binge eating disorder. Just typing this post I polished off FOUR slices of watermelon.

Does surimi count? lol I don't remember if I even tempted to try anything raw such as sushi besides California rolls. It's a natural intense aversion kind of feeling for me. When I cook, I make sure the foods are well done
Have you try it yet?Well, obviously it's not impossible but it's very impressive! Is that tuna or some sort of fish garnished with fish eggs?
Speaking of curry, my favorite would be red curry dishes. Is yours a panang curry or something like that?
Btw, any recommendation on a simple curry dish without having coconut milk as part of the essential ingredient?

Lunar, I had green curry like that once. The waiter was like, "green curry is really hot, are you sure you want it?" Which obviously caused me to go, "Um, of course." Turned out it wasn't very spicy at all! Liar.
I don't cook, but the only thing I'd eat raw is well, vegetables and fruits of course, and fish.
Of course I have. My friend, who can do it, watched and admitted that I'm horrible at cracking eggs. And as I said earlier, I can't exactly practise, unless someone wants me to make a huge omelette for them.Have you try it yet?
big_master, the sashimi looks (salmon is my favourite sashimi) but the salmon caviar, not so much...is that salmon eggs? I have to say I prefer Nigiri-zushi as my favourite type of sushi.

OMG I LOVE BUBBLE TEA!!!
I can also make it too - shuddup, I know it isn't very hard
I heard that tapioca has like 7-15 calories for EACH BALL. And it's starch, which is apparently bad? I'm not even fat (quite the opposite) but my inner woman has a heart attack when she hears that bubble tea is 300+ calories. That's more than my Cinnamon Dolce Latte! And GuGu thinks THAT is fattening!

This should make Sparky happy for loving Godiva's dark chocolate
It's true that certain types of chocolate are good for the cardiovascular system - but certainly not all chocolate. When it comes to good health, the most important thing is to choose dark chocolate versus milk chocolate. The darker the chocolate, the richer it is in flavonoids (also known as bioflavonoids) -- which are responsible for most of chocolate's health benefits. Also - milk inhibits intestinal absorption of flavonoids, so you lose even more of these fabulous plant chemicals during digestion if you choose milk chocolate.
Step 1: Cocoa Content
When buying dark chocolate look for 70% cocoa content. Very dark chocolate can be an acquired taste, though, so play around with different brands until you hit on one you like.
Step 2: Fat Content
The type of fat listed in the ingredients is important. You want to avoid products that contain palm oil or coconut oil or milk fat, and choose ones that are made from "cocoa butter". Even though they're all saturated fats, "cocoa butter" has a neutral effect on cholesterol levels, while the other two can raise your blood cholesterol.
A few of my favorite brands:
* Chocolove 70% and 77%
* Chocolatour Sao Tome 70%
* Chocolatour Dominican Republic 70%
* Ghirardelli Twilight Delight 72%
* New Tree 73%
* Santander 70%
* Dagoba 74%
If you're watching your weight, remember even the darkest of dark chocolate is a treat you should eat in moderation because it's caloric. One ounce contains about 150 calories.
