The Chinese title 宝家卫国 is a pun on 保家卫国 and the surname of the main family （宝）.

I've caught a couple of episodes now and then, and found it quite interesting so far. It is better than I expect from a sponsored Mediacorp series. It is not as preachy as I thought it will, especially a series sponsored by the Singapore Armed Forces (or maybe I just happened to watch the least preachy episodes?). The chemistry between the artistes, especially those acting the Bao family members, is good. The script is not bad.

Haha, I've never watched this drama before. I've only watched the preview of it, and also heard the theme song of it. Other than that, I've heard and seen nothing of it. Used to watch Mediacorp dramas on weekends and weekdays, however, not these days. It's getting more & more boring. =/
