I didn't make any money either! Damn it all. My friend decided not to bet on Thursday game and I have to go thru him to bet. Sucks!

For Sunday 1PM games, I like:

    Cincinnati -2
    NY Jets -3
    Seattle +1

    New Orleans Over 42.5
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

    Tom Brady hurt.
    Peyton Manning ineffective.
Atlanta blowing Detriot out of the water.

    What a wacky week 1.

Luckily I bet small in week 1 because of all the uncertainty. Time to redeem myself on MNF.

    @Green Bay -2
    Minnesota 38

    Denver -3
    @Oakland 41

    What's everyone pick?

Wow, who would've thought the Bears beat Indy. Their D looked nothing like how they played in the preseason. Sure, Manning was rusty, but they stopped Addai, and came up with big plays like they did during their super bowl year 2 years ago. And does atlanta look good or what? Sure, it was against the lowly Lions, but Michael Turner and Matt Ryan looked very good yesterday.

My pick for tonite is Minnesota + Over and Denver + Over.

Had Michael Turner in my fantasy football league and didnt even start him. My Super Chargers lost at the end of the game. Could have made some money yesterday if my friend had put my bet in, but instead he was sleeping.

Now that week one of the NFL season has officially ended, I thought it was rather crazy. Who would've thought ATL would win much less scored 34 points.

Another shocker was Tom Brady is out for the rest of the season. How would the Pats fare without Brady?

Brett Favre looked pretty good in his debut as a Jets. I'm pretty sure he was pissed off seing GB win last night. Aaron Rodgers looked good last night despite the pressure he's been going through to be the man in Green Bay. I thought he delivered last night.

How about Vince Young getting booed for not wanting to come back in the game after he reagravated his knee.

Looks like Shawne Merriman is going to out for the season, with the knee injury.

Before the season started this was my prediction:

AFC: East- New England, North- Pitts, South- Indy, West- SD. Wild card: Buffalo and Jacksonville.

NFC: East- Dallas, North- Minnesota, South- NO, West- Seattle. Wild card: GB and TB.

Super Bowl Prediction: SD vs Dallas

But since New England lost Tom Brady, i dont think they will make it to playoffs. Looks like NYJ could win the east.

Same here, one team only for me. Except it's the Cowboys. I really hope they make it in to the Superbowl this year because it's been way too long since the last time they got in.

Sorry Bunny, Dallas Cowboys is my home state's team, but they sucked. I once turned down a ticket to watch their game...just not a fan.

Oh man, I was so shocked to read about TB. Poor guy!

I must admit they weren't exactly too stellar since their last Superbowl, but they're actually in pretty good shape this season. I've always been a fan of them ever since I knew about football...and like TC, I'm loyal, so no matter what happens, they're still my #1 team.

Yeah, really sucks for Brady. Good luck to your team without him, Bella.

I hear you about the Cowboys. It would be nice if they win can another Superbowl to redeem their reputation and prestige.

The Patriots didn't choke. They were just flat beat. Their offensive line was simply blown off the field.

    Indeed.

I was cheering hard for the Giants. But I disagree that they 'choked.' They were just plain beat.

You have to have the game in hand and throw it away to 'choke.' Memphis choked against Kansas in the NCAA final; the Patriots did not choke.

And Frank Gore would have to go for 200 yards and/or the defense has to force 4+ turnovers for the 49ers to have a chance against the Cowboys.
