Thailand is famous for the food and ladyboys and given the latest 'ladyboys' beauty contest, i think the country is proud of their national heritage.

The 'ladyboys' is a national heritage? Dude, if that's what you think you don't know Thailand at all. I will safely say that 90% of the people who attend these Miss Ladyboy Contest and Ladyboys shows are foreigners. If we're pround of our national heritage then why is it only accepted in a few certain area?

Anyways, I don't want to kill this thread. (LOL at RWX) So I'll stop about ladyboys right here.

    LOL. National heritage?

Oh god, if I was Thai, I would be feeling so insulted right now...fortunately, I'm not. Too bad for you, though, GuGu!

Darn you! I'm trying to not talk about this anymore! And no, men becoming 'ladyboys' is NOT our National Heritage. If you're so dumb as to think that then nothing can help you and I guess you'll only experience that part of Thailand. A part of Thailand where it's build to just rip off money off of stupid horny foreign tourists.

Oh! Kick boxing! I was like going to say something to the effect of 'we're not japanese, we don't have wrestling'

If you're interested in learning Muay Thai, there are gyms across the US that offer it. I would say they're mainly in bigger cities. I don't know anything about it, because I'm a girl. But I have friends who train and compete in this sport who live in the LA area.

After Jaa Panom aka Tony Jaa's movie Ong Bak became famous many people got interested in Thai Kick Boxing. But I have to say, just like any martial arts it's not as 'awesome' in real life as it is on movie screens with the slow motion and special effects crap. I have been to a few fights and didn't like it at all, I guess it's because I'm not interested in seeing two guys beat the crap out of each other.

Go watch this funny video and you'll see how dangerous it is for kick boxers.

OMG! I can see you in one of those boxer's place. hahaha You perverts will do anything to protect your precious jewel.

Anyways, I think there is an online Muay Thai forum that I joined a few months ago... Ummm I joined because my bf was telling me he visits that place and I wanted to check up on him. I love e-stalking. But yeah, the site had a lot of stuff on it. Like videos on what the moves were called and how to do those moves. And a lot of support on the forum. If you're interested I can find it for you.
