Americans also use single 'L' when UK uses double 'L' in certain words like, 'traveling' and 'travelling'.
australian english is like uk english, isn't it? aussies use 'favourite', and 'colour'. it's considered wrong if we use 'favorite' or 'color'.

anyway, i've heard of most of the singers, but never listen to them. jay chou isn't too bad, and i just found out about anson hu yesterday, because he was on 'just the two of us' (名声大震), but before that, i had never heard of him.

Argh, I could not choose between Richie and David, but alas, I came to David.

Richie would score my vote for acting.

I'm surprised that Jay Chow is up there, yet Chen Chu sheng is not?

Not many people here have HunanTV so its hard for them to know all that stuff..... which sucks, cause they're missing out some really awesome shows

And thanks to all those that explained NICELY the difference between "favorite" and "favourite"

I like to think that we use AUSTRALIA English. Afterall in Microsoft, there's an option of it being 'English (Australia)' rather than 'English (UK)'.

well it's nice to know you'd genuinely never heard of english other than american english. It's absolutely lovely when americans tell others that their english is completely wrong.

australian english is not UK english either. They're more similar than Australia and america, but they're not the same.

Haha, yeah i have Dish network. But the thing that sucks the most is how HunanTV never broadcasts the tv series to the people outside of the country.... at least I never get to see it

Now when did I ever tell Sparky that her English was completely wrong? Yeah whatever, since you're probably older than me, I'm pretty sure you know a lot more

you're a fearless when it comes to genders.

anyway, let's forget about it. I apologise since i didn't realise you actually didn't realise that english spelling was different to american spelling. It's just that i assume that's kind of general knowledge, and it's not like you're five or something.

sorry for turning this into a debate about australian, british and american english

    1) "Dou Jiang You Tiao" is awesome. Best lyrics ever. It even has FOOD in its lyrics...can't beat that! And its tune is very...happy.
    2) How is "Zhi Dui Ni Shuo" creepy? I think it's not his best song, but it's very mainstream and appealing at least. I just wish it didn't have like, three languages in it.
    3) I love his girly voice...in fact, out of all these I think he has the nicest voice, if not the nicest looks/music/fashion sense. It shows RANGE. He is very graceful when he sings high notes, unlike Jay Chou who kind of sounds like he's dying.
    4) Maybe I didn't pick the right song...listen to "Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou" and "Chi Bang"
Sorry to be a pain in the *** for disagreeing with you, but I don't like JJ Lin at all...not even after listening to the 2 additonal songs that you've listed. But did I tell you that I'm really high on Anson Hsu? Not too much into his feminine looks, but his voice is music to my ears. Have been listening to his songs over and over. I liked "Hong Yan" a lot as well.

Here are some songs from Tank (whom is not on your list), but I think is another good artist.

    Also recommended from Tank-

    "Cheng Li De Yue Guan"
    "Fei Ni Muo Shu"
    "Gei Wo Ni De Ai"

"San Guo Lian" is of course, still the best....

I love Tank, too! Too bad he's not on the list. Otherwise, I'll vote for him for sure! Love the aforementioned "Fei Ni Mo Shu" (sung by Ariel Lin) and "Gei Wo Ni De Ai"... also like "Dong Le", "Zhuan Shu Tian Shi", "Wo Men Xiao Shi Hou"... and more. It seems like he sings (and writes) a lot of theme songs for TV drama.

haha - back to the topic shall we?

My votes will be on JJ Lin, Lee Hom, David Tao & Guang Liang. It's really too bad that we can only choose one. My pick is on David Tao because he seems to be the most under rated among all of them. He's really talented and is one of the best live singers out there.

I feel the same way, haha.
I feel that if you take out the parts where Pan sings, and replace it with just about any male pop singer's voice, the song wouldn't lose much charm.

Never heard Richie Ren, Wang Lee Hom, or Jimmy Lin sing before
Geez, are you anti-Taiwan or something?
