    Default HP VS Sony

    So I'm looking for a laptop and I have narrowed down to two laptops and its the Sony Vaio or HP Pavillion. I've heard good things for both, I was just wondering which one is best one out of the two? I always thought that sony was better but I was told it just has name reconition and HP is actually a better laptop. So I'm very confused at which one to buy, if you guys can help it'll be a great help thanks.

    HP. Sony is not bad but not anymore than that. You are really buying for the design of Sony rather than its capabilities. So it's HP for me.
