Yup, I got the same pop-up. It only started to appear these past two weeks.

Arrgh!! The "QuestionMarket.com" expanded ads on top is driving me nuts! It keeps blocking the forum

I’m not getting pop up ads, but I do see the banner ad at the top of the page expand and cover ¼ of the page. It is VERY annoying and bugs the heck out of me. It randomly expands and goes away if you click anywhere on the page. You don’t have to click the “X” box. Is there a way to stop this?

It's not a problem on my newer computer, which runs on Windows Vista, but it is a problem on my older computer, which runs on Windows XP. The pop-up blocker built into IE doesn't seem to affect it, even set at the highest setting. Particularly bad for me is the Southern California Edison ad.

i got so annoyed that i switched over to firefox browser. no more ads, but i hate the fact that i had to download a new browser. IE should fix this problem with ads and viruses.

With 'Stop Pops', EI and Google [via the Google tool bar] running interference, I get very few pop-ups and none here.

We set some rules in our advertising display that there be no popups or expanding type ads (basically the annoying kind). If you still see them, let us know.

Southern California Edison was the main culprit in my case. Nobody else's ad caused trouble.

I haven't seen it during the past few days, and it was only a problem on my older computer. My newer computer seemed to be able to handle it.

Yes, it does. But like Ken had mentioned, it's only a problem on my older computer that runs on Windows XP.
