Now you just have to wait for the results (or do you get the results immediately???) and see if they get you into the course/school you want!
yeah, you get the results immediately. the funny thing is that you have to go to one of those outside testing centers and the people who work there print out your scores and hand them to you. you can usually tell how well ppl did by the employees' reactions. ie: better luck next time or great job!

How many essays? How long? Sure you'll get them done because application essays have drop-dead deadlines.

since this thread is about study, i wonder the following:
    1. is there anything wrong if one study for study sake, ie, without the outcome in objective, e.g. passing exam, getting high grade. that is, you just study. similarly,
    2. is there anything wrong if one eat for eating sake and/or learn for learning sake?

I am doing as much if not more learning now that I'm working than in my school days... Engineering could be so boring, but now I am being paid to do it, doesn't seem so boring. Of course, I don't have to solve a thousand and one I-beam problems. That was hard.

In school, when I wasn't motivated, I would go from one library to another, change of scenery did help. An effective way was to draw the curtains and turn on the light. I pretended it was dead at night, it worked.

But the most effective way was telling myself over and over again that I had to go to a lazy professor's classes again if I didn't knuckle down...

Maybe you could put a big picture of a professor or classmate whom you could definitely live without.

Talking about procrastination... I have a university (college) programming assignment to complete and it's due in two days. But instead I'm here browsing around at spcnet.

I got exams in six months time, I had been "studying" for six months already- at this stage, I need to kick it up a notch bit had been trying to find excuses of not studying I.e I need to focuson this presentation or project first or I need to study on the weekend.

Luckily I got two separate study group to pull me along right now but I really need to kick my lazy bum and just keep going.

I will keep you posted spcnet.
