How to set to a default font?

This is especially pertaining to word documents.

Whenever I open up a word document, its default font would be SimSun. But I prefer, and almost always uses Arial.

I didn't mind changing the font type, but then it would repeatedly revert back to SimSun on ocassions and it's very annoying, especially when I'm working on articles and whatnot.

Is there any way I can change the default font to Arial for good?

If so Click Home on the Menu up top. On the Font menu click the little square at the bottum right corner. Now select the font, size etc you want. Click "Default" button at the buttom left. Press "Ok"

Anyway mine is Word 2003... so I don't know what's the 'Home' you are speaking of...

From the Format menu, choose Font then choose the font you want
Then should be a Default butt-on to press

Uhh... there's no button to make it default as far as I know.

I think the fonts got messed up.

That is for work, I reckon? I suggest you re-install the Word program.
