I am having trouble posting chinese as well. I have chinese characters in my sig (big 5 encoding) but some aren't displaying correctly. I've been editing my msgs to get rid of the sig, but I will leave it on here.

Odd, it displays better under IE 6 simplified encoding, but the text was inputted in big 5. One character still cannot be displayed correctly. The third word in the first line should be “dan4” (together dan4 wang2) I have no idea what that character being displayed instead is. LOL Oh well I'll probably be changing that later on.
You’re already in the office?? You’re so early!

Probably it's better to use the Unicode system to avoid having to choose between Simplified/Traditional Characters Encoding.
In plain Editor choose Arial MS Unicode (as Font). Paste your Chinese text.
Save the file (with Chinese characters) under Unicode/UTF-8 (not under plain text - that is only for ASCI)
Set your browser: View/Encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) before you copy and paste the characters onto your posting. Then post.
The reader of the message should also set his browser's Encoding to Unicode (UTF-8) to view the Chinese characters.
This way you can post BOTH Simplified and Traditional characters.
Hope this helps.
