He was scared sh*tless, almost fell out of his seat, just by hearing Murong Bo's name.

Is there anyone else whose name evoked so much tremor?

Hmm, after a lot of pondering the name that comes to mind is Mr. Dongguo from The Sword and the Exquisiteness.

Hmm Dongfang is stronger than Ren Wo Xing, but only a handful of people know that fact. I believe that Wu Lin at large consider both of them to be equals in martial arts due to their equal position of Chiefs of the Sun Moon sect.

But Ren Wo Xing was said to be much more ruthless during the time of his rule in Chief, and probably had a more aggressive policy towards Wu Lin. And his special Essence Absorbing technique has scared even experts witless. Like when Xiang Wen Tian just faked that technique, around 2000 experts just fled as fast as they could.

I'd say that Ren Wo Xing's name is more feared in Wu Lin than any other during the timeline of Smiling Proud Wanderer.

I just thought of another person worth mentioning. He is Aobai! In DOMD Kang Xi is scared whenever he hears Aobai is seeking audience or is talking to him. Of course I don't know too much details because I only watched the adaptations so far but I'm pretty sure Aobao is pretty fearful.

I would say the name power of the Five Greats also had incredible power. People from Mongolia to Tibet knew of their power.
