Default Who do you -like- the most from the Condor Trilogy?

Since it's a trilogy, let's try to limit our selections to top 3 favorites.

    So I'll start!

    1. Reverend Kongjian (HSDS): the only other Shaolin abbot in Jin Yong universe who can stand up to Fangzheng in being considered the peak of kindness, compassion, enlightenment, and martial arts. He is someone who always inspires me.

    Your turn!

    1. Yang Guo, a man who followed his heart. He didn't care about what other people think but at the same time he can be compassionate and kind to people who needed his help. Despite all the odds, he was still able to find himself and pull through.

    2. Guo Xiang, she's kind, beautiful, and funny. What's there not to like?

    3. Guo Jing, a true hero, he cared more for people he didn't know than people who loved him.

Kongjian was a wonderful man, but was he actually an abbot? I thought he was actually not as well known as the other Kong-generation monks (of whom a different one was the abbot), because he kept to himself mostly.

I think KongJian wasn't an abbot as he would rather meditate than be involved in temple and wulin politics.

    my choice:
    1. Zhang SangFeng
    2. Guo Jing
    3. Zhang Wuji

Zhang Wuji - seriously I never get why some people don't like this awesome guy. His only flaw is that he should've banged all of those chicks.

Huang Rong - my wuxia crush

Guo Jing - the man who defies the usual popular culture BS that a hero has to follow his heart, not to give a flying fvck about other people, and be some sort of anti-hero / ordinary human so that the lowly fanboys/girls can "identify" with him. Screw that. I want someone I can admire. Truly an unique hero.

I agree with you on banging all 4 chicks. Eh, he just chose the wrong girl in my opinion.

Zhao Min, hands down! Out of all the wuxia female characters, she's one of the best-rounded characters, in my opinion. A multi-dimension character - the line between good and evil is obscured when it comes to ZM. As a Mongolian Princess, she is cunning, ruthless and violent towards her enemies. But in lies a woman with a tender heart – as we get to witness a softer, gentler, and vulnerable side of ZM when she fell in love with ZWJ. It is atypical that women make more sacrifices for love in wuxia world. However, how many of them have as much to give up as ZM? She sacrifices her country, her family, power, and wealth to chase after some gullible boy who has his heart divided in four corners. As far as I’m concerned, that is as close to unconditional love as it gets. I like her spunk and fire, her wits and intelligence, her tenacity and resilience, and I admire her courage and determination.

    2. Zhang Wuji
    3. Zhang Sanfeng
