On most browsers, there's a setting that lets you download audio files instead of playing them automatically.

In FireFox, it's Tools > Options > Content > File Types > Manage. Then you choose MP3 and select "save file to computer".

In IE, I'm not sure because IE sucks and I don't use it

The lyrics are definitely more deeper with the older songs, and much more...poetic in a sense. The newer songs are like......."you left, I'm sad, I'm crying, please come back, why did you leave?, you must not like me anymore (duh), I'm really sad, blah blah blah..." They're just big fat whine-fests with really obvious lyrics.

lolz, that's a popular topic in older songs too. the difference is, the vocabularies aren't so trite back then whereas the word usage in lyrics nowadays belong to 2nd graders >_<.

seeing quite a few titles in this thread that are my faves as well.
i listen to a lot of Cam Ly, Minh Tuyet, and Dam Vinh Hung and a few of Ung Hoang Phuc, Cat Tien, and Nguyen Thang.

Ung Dai Ve - Vi Mot Nguoi

A friend sent me this song a while back, and I really liked it, mostly the tune. I happened to be listening to it again earlier.........much more closely than I ever did. When it got to the last part of the song.....I just had to slap my forehead. I mean, could the lyrics get any more obvious? I guess....it's pretty honest, but still...it just sounded so out of place then. Another whiny song. But...I still like the tune, haha.


A song that just came to mind is Toi Ngan Nam Doi. I've listened to many versions, but I still prefer Lam Truong's version. Huy Vu's version comes a close second. I like My Tam, but her version of the song made me feel like I was listening to a hippie song than a romantic song.
