uniqueness of a heroine??

PJ had a very fun thread on the uniqueness of a hero. Can we do one for uniqueness of a heroine (female heroes)?

What is your definition of heroine?

- The female lead of the story? (e.g. Li Wen Xiu, Ah Qing)
- The final love interest of the hero? (e.g. Miao Ru Lan, Huang Rong, Ren Ying Ying)
- The female characters in the story that every other characters consider a heroine? (e.g Yue Bu Qun's wife)

Is Huo Qing Tong a heroine? She's not the hero's love interest eventhough she likes her hero. But she is more outstanding and has more 'screentime' than Princess Xiang Xiang.

Is Ding Dang a heroine? She has way more 'screentime' than the other 2 younger female characters Shi Jian and Ah Xiu.

Who are the heroines in 'Tian Long Ba Bu' and 'Lu Ding Ji'?

Zhou Zhi Ruo
Yuan Zhi Yi
Princess Chang Ping
Luo Bing
Cheng Ling Su
Cheng Ying
Min Rou


Zhou Zhi Ruo is can be considered a villainness but many people in Wulin will consider her a heroine since she's leader of Er-Mei Sect.

Princess Chang Ping's works for the Ming Dynasty.

Luo Bing is part of the anti-goverment group, but she did display heroince quality.

Cheng Ying and Cheng Ling Su are just nice people and Cheng Ling Su play a big part in Hu Fei's early life.

Min Rou is one half of the heroice duo 'Black and White Sword'.

Also, does other characters in the story consider Zhao Min a heroine? She's look upon more as an oppressor and an evil person by the other characters.
