Propose expansion of Gaming/Anime Forum to include comic books

I've been curious and a few members have asked me about why we don't have a forum for the discussion of comic books, both Western superhero kinds (i.e. SUPERMAN, BATMAN, SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN, etc.) and Japanese manga.

While I don't think discussion of this genre would be worth creating a whole new forum for, I do recommend expanding the scope of the existing Anime/Gaming Forum to include comics as well.

What does SC and the community say?

I guess that's okay. But now that we have social groups, it works like another forum for members to discuss things that not neccessarily fit into the main SPCNET forum. Somehow the social group area allows for a more general discussion that some off-topic-ers like. Now if only all that off-topic talk can shift into the social group area and away from the main forum area, that would be great.

Perhaps we need to separate Gaming and have Anime and Comics/Manga together as a forum.

I agree with Ken.

I don't think we should separate Gaming into another forum...it seems like the target members who are into gaming happen to also be the same ones who are into anime/manga/comics, so there's really no need.

Hei hei! Thanks, Ken, I've sat on the proposal for including comics in our SPCNET threads. I'm glad you've put up a better proposal than I would.
