This a mega series (50 eps), not the usual 16 or 22 kdrama series. Latest is ep 03 as of 2008-09-01. Anyone (from Korea) already watching this? Any early review? This one got Le Da Hae, one of my fav actress (Green Rose/My Girl). Hope she is good in this series (I mean her acting), must be the usual tearjerker mode .

The OST already up at d-addicts. Hope it's better than Stairway To Heaven or Green Rose which is full of cool orchestra and soprano soundtrack.

This drama revolves around the fate of two men born in the 60s at the same time, and in the same hospital, of a coal mining town.

Shin Tae-hwan is the managing director of a coal mine in Taebaek. As the true embodiment of ambition, he strives to become the inheritor of the coal mining company called the Taesung Group. In this process, he kills Lee Ki-chul, another miner who has been blocking his path to success. For his own selfish pleasure, he also seduces a nurse at Taebaek Hospital, only to coldly brush her away later.

At that moment, the wife of the deceased miner Lee Ki-chul gives birth to a son at Taebaek Hospital. On that same day, Shin Tae-hwan’s wife also gives birth to a baby boy.

Mi-ae is the nurse who has been betrayed by Shin Tae-hwan. In her rage, she comes up with a scheme to fulfill her own revenge. As if to jab a dagger into Shin Tae-hwan’s heart, she switches the two babies born in the same hospital. By doing so, she viciously transforms the fates of the two lives.

I'm looking at the correlation chart of the characters and I don't understand who loves who. I mean obviously its a love shape of some sort, but who mutually shares feelings for each other? Who ever did that chart made it kind of confusing. But SSH and LDH in the same drama, I'll definitely check this out.

Though the revenge and the switch at birth plot sounds kind of cliche already.

I don't understand it either. About cliche, well most kdrama nowadays is all repeat of previous or similar plot, however as I previously said, the plot is not that important, its the journey to the conclusion is the one that count.

Oh well, this is going to be a long journey - 50 eps. Maybe if MBC is greedy there will extend this indefinitely like what has been done with Jumong.

Glad to hear that it's good. Tazza is going to be aired against EOE, however I'm sure EOE going to win the rating war. I'm still not start watching this, will wait until more subs done by S2. I never watch my kdrama through online streaming. Usually I burned it as DVD ISO (700 MB raw - more or less 6-7 eps per DVD-R) and watch it in my MPEG4/DivX player.

I honestly hope this drama does well since it's SSH's "homecoming" drama. The cast is too good for it to bomb, but then again...things that get too much hype are also in danger of being held to higher standard. Love the cast...but poor Dennis Oh. He couldn't even get a picture on the poster. I'm looking forward to LYH's performance as she is one of my most favorite Korean stars.

SSH still looks so hot after all these years. *sigh*

I already watch the preview special, it seems that LYH is involve with SSH initially, maybe LDH will come into the picture later on.

It's ashamed that Han Ji-Hye is not the main woman, I like her in Cloud Stairway.

LOL!, LDH playing evil woman, she looks so innocent. The series is called Sweet 18 / Little Bride / 18 Year Old Bride. I still not watching it. I check at aigoo, they got this on MU, so gonna DL/watch this once I finish Cloud Stairways. Will only start watching EOE after the subs completed at 20 or more.

However I think the most anticipated drama this year should be the return of Song Hye Gyo to Tv after Full House in 2004. She will be paired with Hyun Bin in The World That They Live In (November-2008)

TWTLI is surely highly anticipated, but probably not as much as EOE. Hyun Bin is definitely popular, but if it was Won Bin instead of Hyun Bin, then yes, I would agree that it would probably become the most anticipated.

I'm a big SHK fan, and I've really missed seeing her in TV series, so personally, I'm really looking forward to TWTLI.

Any early review? I heard this series has strong rating. Glad that it's successful and not a flop. Hope Tazza will also doing good.

I am currently addicted to this drama. It has been a very long time, since there's been an action/drama/serious one . I'm really looking forward to this, and I'm currently on ep. 8. All of the actors and actresses are mostly well known. I'm amazed by some of the new actors/actresses. For example: Donchul's and DongWook's mom is a great actress herself, and Kim Bum made an amazing appearing and his acting just wow :P.

The couple that I currently like now is Dong Wook and Ji Hyun because they seem to be struggling a lot, but they're working at it... I have a feeling they won't be together for long, but I'm glad that they got the chance because they look really compatible and adorable together :3.

so I assume you understand Korean then, as the subs only up to eps 5. I still not start watching this, but I DL all the Ental episodes and the subs as soon as it's available.

I'm glad that this is the number 1 drama right now in Korean. So 50 billion won is not wasted down the drain.
