Default Did every substantial village in wuxia China have at least one martial arts expert?

In wuxia fiction, wulin people seemed ubiquitous. No matter where one went, one ran into wulin people.

It's no surprise that every large city had its share of wulin people. Members of wulin often congregated in large cities. What about the mid-size villages, however? I'm not talking about the super small villages populated by only twenty people, but a village of between 200 - 500 people. In those mid-size villages, was there usually at least one martial arts expert (at say, the level of Gwok Siu Teen) in town?

People of Guo Xiaotian's calibre seems pretty common during that era, (if we're talking about people with Water Margin characters' level of martial arts proficiency), so yes probably two or three exists in each of those villages.

Back then there is no other entertainments such as Internet, Video Games, Movie, TV, ect. so people focus on martial arts. People with martial artists with skill like Gwok Siu Teen and Yeung Sit Sum are very very common throughout China. However, most of them are not actively involved in wulin activity. They lived as a common man.

In JinYong universe, there are less martial artists. In GuLong universe, there are much much more martial artists to be found.
