Is it me or does ZM seem very silly and cartoonish in here? Seriously hope that childish marching and colliding blindly into ZWJ's back doesn't make it to the final cut.

maybe the picture can imply the first meeting of Zhaomin and Wuji.
I remember Zhangjizhong said Zhaomin in this version is going to appear earlier than in the novel.

As early as Ren Ying Ying did in SPW? i know most people didnt like the early intro of RYY to give her more screen time but i personally liked it, got her more involved in the story. [but then again the intro of Alyssa's ZM as a child was pointless.]

Here is the question, if Ady's ZM become similiar to Alyssa's, does it weaken the argument that Alyssa's ZM was not the most common interpretation of ZM that people think of? Everyone complaint that Alyssa was too comical and 'sassy', that Ady was gonna make a better ZM because she was gonna give it more an mature look. If they turn out to be the same ZMs, is it going to end up depending on their acting skills?

I think that scene is when the group have already returned from Snake Island and ZZR has framed ZM because ZWJ mentions that he has already brought ZM to view the dragon sabre and tells her that his godfather will kill her if he sees her. It's weird how ZM still seems in a silly and blur mode when ZWJ probably has already confronted her about her "crimes".

She states that she's rather tomboyish in real life and hopes to reflect this characteristic when portraying ZM. She adds that she wishes to blend some of her personal characteristics with that of ZM's so as to present an original and natural interpretation of the character. Lastly, she says that she has not watched past portrayals and has not done any comparisons as she wants to portray ZM based on her own interpretation and doesn't wish to be influenced by others.

Me too! If they don't focus too much on comic aspect it's not a big deal.
Zhaomin is a 'cute' lady but she also has to have some 'sexy' aspect I think. ANd Anyixuan's look is quite appropriate for this I think. HOpe she could show various aspects of Zhaomin in this Yitian. Not only CUTE!

Remember in the beginning when they first film the scene at the Lu Liu Manor and there were a bunch of reporters/press around? Turn out those clips were not going to be in the series, so they re-filmed the scene.

I dont think the hairstyle is suitable but i love the headgear and outfit! It's very pretty!! Perhaps the fringe could be tucked in and like what Tiff mentioned, the fur hat could cover the top of her forehead with the red beads stringing down around her hair.
