Man Utd won the premier league with an insipid draw against Arsenal.

If they played the champions league final like that, they are bound to lose.

Fergie certainly had an eye for the final, thus Man Utd didn't show the true color. Come final, it will be different, still very much convince Man Utd will beat Barca, with the strategy of letting Barca attack, and Man Utd banking on counter attack. Score prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Barca.

United got the point they needed to win the league that is all that matters. Barca won La Liga without having to take the field thanks to Real Madrid's loss. As a result they have only 3 of the usual first 11 playing today.

my futsal team lost by 1 goal tonight and my header with 20 seconds to go hit the crossbar. So I'm going to predict it's going to be very close and ManU are going to lose by 1 goal or they'll lose in penalties.

Can't say I've not been expecting this outcome.

Anyway, congrats to Barca and Barca fans.

The moment Man Utd is going to start white, that's already a bad omen. Although nothing can be taken away from Barca, Man Utd simply screwed themselves after dominating for 10 mins.

I don't understand why Rooney played the left wing, Ronaldo as striker, and of all people, Park at the right wing. Rooney simply didn't manage to get pass the Barca defense, Park either was chasing unreachable ball or passing the ball backwards.

Anderson and Carrick were no better in midfield. If only Hargreaves or Fletcher was around. Maybe Ferguson should have started with Giggs and Scholes in the middle, Tevez and Rooney in attack, with Ronaldo supporting. Park and Anderson shouldn't have played.

Credits to Barca for playing intelligently. They did not attack like they did versus other teams knowing Man Utd is very potent with counter attack. Now I know what Guardiola meant when he said they had studied Man Utd, and will take advantage of Barca strength while deny Man Utd's strength. Man Utd's couldn't even sniff a counter attack the whole night.

Well done to Messi and co. Messi, the new world player of the year for sure.

Honestly, I don't feel that the outcome would have been different. I don't think United has any midfielders who can play with Xavi & Iniesta.

If as seems possible, both Tevez and Ronaldo leave this summer who will United look to acquire?

    Default Ronaldo to Real

United has supposedly accepted $130 million from Real for Ronaldo.

Edit - the news is now on United's homepage

That's a lot of money there. Real has splashed out over 100 million euros for C. Ronaldo and Kaka.

It will be interesting to see how Ronaldo & Kaka blend into the team and who will now be available to move from Real.

That amount of money will allow United to buy a replacement for Ronaldo. I have this feeling that United may actually come out of this a stronger team.

MU will need a strong replacement for Ronaldo as he is very influential in the team. Now that Ronaldo and Tevez gone, what will be the suitable replacements for these 2 excellent players? For next season in Premier League, will be interesting to watch how Liverpool and Chelsea will do.

Real Madrid splashed a lot of money in the past hiring players - but not a team. Will look how Cristiano Ronaldo blends with Kaka in a team.

Tevez is still around, right? I haven't read any news of him leaving or securing any deal yet... But if Ronaldo gets sold, Man Utd may have the money to secure his services. Hopefully.
