Default Should we legalise music piracy?

I know in some places in the world, it is legalised BUT in my side of the world, it isn't.

So what is your opinion on this so called 'issue'?

I know downloading music is quite popular; I'm sure all of you have done so before.
But do you think we should legalise music piracy?

    Fire away
Sometimes it's hard to love someone because you're so afraid of losing them.

    yes

i would buy the CD like what i use to do, but then nowadays, not only do artist cut down the # of tracks in their CD's (use to be at least 13 tracks per CD, now its like 8 not counting the interlude and all those bs), but also theres usually only 1 good song in each CD (sometimes, no good songs )

What a weird question. It is better to ask whether artists should do like Radiohead and let people download their music for free or pay as they wish. If put it that way, than yes, more artists should do the same. It is up to the artists to decide if they want to follow that route or not, but to "legalize piracy" is like imposing free downloading and that is a no no. Artists have the right to ask for something in return for their artistic effort.
My obsessions: Joy Division, New Order, Bones, The Office.
