    Always good to have choices.

not much different than exercising to look good or using acne medication.

An older ex-colleague recently had a stroke. He told me two days ago that he is feeling better. I have often advised him to take life easy. Interestingly, on that day we talked, he thanked me and also advised me to take life easy as one do not know when will happen next.

I think Buddha was right. Middle Way is the best path to take.

Accepting aging as a part of life. Age gracefully! Don't work to hard, live a healthy life. Both extreme austerity and hedonism are bad. Even though I am not religious but some of the values/lessons from Buddhism/religions are good to follow.

When you get older, it seems that more and more people you know have died.

Wow, I am not at this stage yet. Most of the people my age still live well. The sad part is you know sooner or later your time will come, something no one can escape including Jesus and Buddha.

What is sadder are young ones dying before you. I've already known four kids under the age of one have passed away ONLY in a short amount of months.

Yes, there is a "sad" case in Singapore recently. The woman lost her mother when the latter was 30 years old. Now, the first woman died in the fire explosion also at the age of 30. She has a young baby girl. Just hope that this baby will not die at age of 30 too.

My friend's 2 year-old daughter just passed away.
You plant a garden and the flowers do not bloom, you poke a stick in the mud and it grows into a tree

You know you are getting old when all your friends are married and are working on their third child

Another sign of old age: It is reported in the newspaper that Anakin Skywalker "lost" his right hand in a fight with Count Dooku. How come I simply cannot remember this? Conclusion: old age.
