I think we should all just try to enjoy life instead of constantly worrying. Try to find time to spend with friends and family.

Forgetfulness is the problem I have right now. Physically, I am am doing good. I have been going to the park a lot to work out. I did not do this in the past. The food I am eating also a lot healthier than what I ate in the past.

Well, it's depend on the person. If the person lives a healthy life, then YES. If the person live a crappy life, then NO.

With white hair moving from the back to the side and now to the front, how's not to feel old?

But even with white hair appearing... you can still feel young... a lot of people still have a baby face

I always feel the generational gap with my junior engineers, despite the age gap is about 5 – 6 years only.
You plant a garden and the flowers do not bloom, you poke a stick in the mud and it grows into a tree

This could be due to difference in job positions, ie you are more senior than them.

The older you get, you more you hate it when people ask you "why".

Honestly, I think its more to attitude problem with the juniors. Lots of people in the industry are complaining about the junior generation' attitude.

Each generation has its own characteristics. If you can't beat them, join them. If you can't join them, ignore them. If you can't ignore them, leave them.

When you are below 50, any angry word will likely lead to external retaliation - argument, shouting back, fights
When you are above 50, any angry word will lead to internal frustration - bearing with it in your heart.

You realize that many things you want to be changed cannot be changed. You can either be frustrated or sad.

You become more risk reverse. When I was in 30s-40s, I will spend a few hundreds of dollars a day on betting lottery, football matches and trading shares. Now I limit to $50 per week with no share trading.

i admit we are getting less productive. We take twice the time to complete a similar piece of work compared to the young. But more importantly, we will complete the work on time once promised.
