    Default Did the Texas Holdem thread get deleted

    If it was, I guess it was because talk of “gambling” sent “bad messages to young people”?

    Except poker matches for thous of $ are shown regularly on TV.

    Woot! I love Texas holdem.. I actually play all the flop & stud games competitively... Look me up on the online poker player database... I'm rated as a BOMB. my nick is RockstarOC... would love to play with anyone

    I don't consider it gambling, although there is a lot of what they call "variance" in the game, which can spike your bankroll down pretty hard... But it's definitely skill in the long run.

    but I'll continue that discussion if I can find that thread.
