Default Old-school video game consoles and games (1980s)

I spent half of my childhood in the early 1980s, during the first home video game revolution. The Atari 2600 was my first video game system in 1982, and I played many of those classic games such as PAC-MAN, DEFENDER, MISSILE COMMAND, ASTEROIDS, POLE POSITION, DONKEY KONG, etc., back in the day. The games were simplistic by today's standards, but utterly engrossing back then.

Anyone else have experiences with really old video games?

The name Atari rings a bell for me, but I don't think I've had my hands on it since I'm only like, 2 years old.

I had Sega Megadrive before, and that's semi-oldschool. I was an absolute fan of Sonic the Hedgehog. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Castle-vania, Astriods, Macross, Megaman, etc are no stranger with me.
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

I have been long time in search for my childhood favorite arcade game. The game is a side scroller, a simple controlled character need to shoot the enemy.

One button is for JUMP and other for FIRE. the first basic weapon is a simple laser beam but then we can advance the weapon to BOOMERANG, MISSILE, etc.

the only hint I can give to you is , one of the BOSS is the Dogu, see the link for the picture here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:JomonStatue.JPG

can anyone possible know what is the name of this arcade game ?? many thanks.

Classic puzzles like Tetris tends to never grow old.

Pinball games were always my favourites. I would come home after school and play them. I also loved Bubble Bobble, Lemmings and Pang.

    Pang:

    Lemmings "OH NOOOO!!!"

Have you learned to love one another?

I started with a Texas Instrument TI-99 playing Parsec and Burger Time.

The industry has certainly come a long way. I wonder what another 30 years will bring... hopefully a (non-invasive) neural interface

Debating whether to pre-order DBZ: Xenoverse for PC. Been in a DB/Z flashback mood recently. Just got Jaco the Galaxy Patrolman (a manga prequel of sorts to DB).

Waiting for Occulus Rift/MS HoloLens/Valve VR.

It's fun and entertaining watching video game walk thru on youtube. Some levels were so hard on these older games that it's fascinating watching people beat the hard levels.

Ho hum, I started gaming w Japanese console games (SMB, StarFox, etc.), then later on moving to American PC games, and now currently Chinese Android.

The thing with vid games is they're just like anime. I always thought Japanese anime were da bomb, but then Chinese anime come along and I've never looked back. Things both Japs n Americans is they're both immature nations (compared to China), and this personality a type gets ingrained into everything they produce from personal electronics to entertainment...

In other words, what I'm trying to say is Japanese/American consumer products = ------------------

I like online casino games better. I have to say, when it comes to online casinos, Lucky Tiger really stands out for me. I'm not a big fan of the flashy and overcrowded platforms most gambling sites offer these days, but Lucky Tiger lucky-tiger.casinologin.mobi online casnio keeps it simple and enjoyable. The range of games they provide is fantastic, with an impressive collection of slots, table games, and specialty options like Bingo and Keno. What truly sets them apart is the quality of their games. Each one feels carefully crafted, featuring stunning graphics, smooth gameplay, and immersive audio that really boosts the overall experience. Whether I'm spinning the reels on popular titles like "Asgard" or testing my strategies in blackjack or roulette tables, Lucky Tiger always delivers top-notch entertainment. Plus, their user-friendly interface makes it a breeze to navigate through the site and find exactly what I want without any hassle. All in all, if you're looking for a great online casino with an exceptional gaming selection that's easy to use and delivers on quality, Lucky Tiger is definitely worth a try!

Safety should be a top priority. Look for online casinos that utilize encryption technology to protect your personal and financial information. Additionally, reputable casinos employ random number generators (RNGs) to ensure fair and unbiased gameplay.
