I'm inclined to agree, though I do think the last 10 years saw some drastic changes. Mobile devices and social networking are 2 big new things that have reshaped our lives. For me, social networking has replaced 99% of personal email and 95% of phone calls.
2 other excellent major changes, in my mind, are the increasing acceptance of gay culture and the green movement, both mainly driven by the new generation.

Since I got an unlimited texting plan, I text way more than I call now. I've sent/received 3000 texts in 3 months with the new plan. I shocked even myself the first time I noticed the msg counter.
FB has def made staying in touch and organizing get togethers so much easier
What are you fighting for? Just mix them into pissing beef balls, stupid.
