Default Good horror movies to watch on Halloween?

My friends and I are having a little pumpkin carving house party, so I was wondering what are some good movie suggestions? I'm a chicken, so I don't really want to watch anything that's gonna give me nightmares for weeks. =)

I thought you hated horror movies.

My favourite is the Corpse Bride. =]

Corpse Bride is hardly a "horror movie". Morbid, yes, gothic, yes - but rather a romance than anything else.

This is an awfully difficult question to answer. After all, it'd be hard to find a (deliberately) unfunny comedy, a passionless romance, or an action-less action film.

The point of watching horror films is, after all, to be frightened out of one's mind.

Yes, that it does (I'd never dispute that)...:-)

I tend to fuss over definitions when I've got too much spare time on my hands. Annoying as hell, I know, but I can't help it...;-) (what I meant to say was "sorry, my bad"... ;-])

Is cool. I know Bunny, and I know what kind of movie she likes. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that wants a movie that scares them either.

You should watch Ringu (Japanese), JuOn (Japanese), Tale of 2 Sisters (Korean), Odishon (Japanese) and Shutter (Thai). Those movies are not scary, I laugh my heart out when I watch them. It's most of the time full with comedic moment

You should watch the last quarter of Borat when Sacha Baron Cohen fights his assistant.

    That scarred me for weeks.
